Why True Love is Hard to Find?

Romans 5:5; " And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our heaerts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." You are correct, Crisi, if we have dedicated our lives to God, love is not hard to find because it is in our hearts. Love is all good, and I Corinthians 13: brings that out. It is true that if we have God's love in our hearts it will not be hard to show it to other people. Someone who does not have God's love in his/her heart I think it is difficult to show true love, because love is from God.

For me, it is really hard to find love specially if a person has so many secrets. Lies can bring somewhere where you don't want to be there. Like for an instance, a woman loves this guy because of the sweet words from the tongue of this guy and then later on she finds out that the words that came out from the tongue are all false. It pays to honesty that makes it work. True needs compatibility in in so many ways and understanding both sides. It needs to be genuine on the words that one is speaking and no deception. Everything will follow smoothly and number one is the faith of God that He is going to enlighten both hearts and minds to be living and in a peaceful relationship. Doing what is good and being considerate. If one is not true with his/her words, it is so hard to keep someone and feel that it is so hard to find love but when a person is true what is on his/her heart everything will follow smoothly.

No matter how far the people are, they can show love in so many ways. Once a person is on the point of loving truly and that love is reciprocated true love will surely be felt. Yes, too many secrets is not good. My sister and my mother lived together, and they got in this habit of whispering secrets. Some of the rest of us would say, no, no, no, no secrets, stop your whispering, and it was in good humor, so everyone would laugh, and they would stop telling their secrets. It doesn't make everyone in the room feel very good, when there are a couple of people whispering secrets. Either tell us all out loud, or go where we don't know that you are telling your secrets, so we won't be offended, huh?

Sweet words don't mean much if they come from a false tongue. We have a saying about someone speaking with a forked tongue. No deception, faith in God, and doing what is good and being considerate is important. Having God enlighten both hearts and minds for peaceful living is good.

I agree that distance does not have to be an obstacle, but people can show truth love many miles apart, and even across the ocean. Having true love and that love being reciprocated gives a good feeling.

I have read a book asking, What if you are not attracted to the person you will marry?

I believe that it is important to marry someone that is from the Lord than to rely on our hearts. I do believe that marrying someone is because of Love and not just attraction. Physical appearance fade but the heart of the matter is the most important

Yes, Crisi, the Lord's direction is the most important part, because with that there will be no mistakes and no regrets. Marrying someone because of love makes more sense than marrying someone because of attraction, because as you said physical appearance will fade, but love will carry you through, and the greatest is love. Love will be there after all else has changed.

Yes, Mitch, I will pray that the Lord will help you to find your true love. It does seem discouraging sometimes as the ones that are loving, kind, and reliable seem to be few and far between. Keep looking and don't give up hope, and when you least expect it, he will show up for you. I am blessed that I have Carol for my wife. We have been together for 44 years in a few months. I would not want to be alone, that is for sure. When Carol is not in the house, it does not seem the same. I like the company, her just being there makes me feel good. So, I hope and pray that it works out for you to find your guy.

I think it is hard for some to find true love. They wish, pray, and work, but they have difficulty making progress to their goal. Some seem to be taken advantage of, and others of them just have bad luck with their relationships. Some make poor choices, and so their plans get delayed. Some have their sights set too high, and no one can please them, but then sometimes they realize that they have to settle for someone who will love them well, but might not be perfect. Best wishes to all who are hoping, wishing, and praying, and that they will find their person to go along side with them!

I think its not hard to find true love its the person that will love you sincerely that is hard to find
There are many guys out there that are good in saying this and that many trying to deceive woman by there charm but only few are loyal, only few that has God in there hearts...anyway if we hardly pray we can find are true love in God chosen time....In one forum I attended in our church a pastor once told us that angels brings our prayer to God so we must also pray for the safety of our prayer and that the angel that brings our prayer will not have in counter traffic
