There are just as many trashy, untrustworthy women as there are trashy and untrustworthy men! We can come up with all the excuses in the world but the truth is about the same percentage of women cheat as do men. But men want to be seen as "studs" so they tend to brag about their affairs. Women want to be seen as "pure" so they never admit and work hard to hide affairs. So on a survey women will not admit the truth of their affairs, while men tend to exaggerate their affairs. Reality is both men and women have affairs at about the same rate. Women have affairs for more emotional reasons, men have affairs for more physical reasons. But results are equally damaging.

Thanks for the info. That is why it needs wisdom and prayer to find the right one and not be totally be carried away by emotion But by truth. As for me, I will not cheat my husband to be, that is my prayer and commitment. It should be love without reservation

There was once debate in law school regarding human rights. Rights of women violated by husbands. The Biology students opposed or they favor some men beating wives coz according to them they should be understood due to high testosterone. Dont know if i spell it right. Well i thought its crazy idea. (whoah, have high level of testosterone better hide now....lol)

Hmm. How about both men and women stop using hormones as excuse for bad behavior? Women say it's PMS causes their bad behavior. Men say it's testosterone causes their bad behavior.

But as to why are men unfaithful. Again maybe both men and women stop making excuses for bad behavior. Men tend to cheat because of physical reasons. Women tend to cheat for emotional reasons.

Well, all that sex trade stuff is a big turn off as far as I can understand, and the way I see it. First of all it is cheap! There is no real value connected with it. Also that whole business is a disease carrying hot bed. Most importantly it is sinful and God is against it. So we need to follow God's leading and do His will!

Gosh Red it's dangerous for a man to be around you! Most men (unless they are old, dead) will have an immediate physical response to a woman they find attractive, that is the way they are that is the way God made them. Does not mean they love her or care for her, just means they are responding the way God intended. The real question is who does he work to provide a home for, who does he go home to at night? Those are his choice. His choice tells where his commitment, values and love are.

Another idea is the difference between reasons and excuses. Many people think they have reasons to be unfaithful, but I think often they are excuses. God holds people accountable for their behavior, and they might think they have reasons, but they might find upon further thought they are excuses. Two wrongs don't make a right. So before God I must do what is right no matter what the other person does. I don't have complete control over the other person, but I do have control over myself.
