Yes, strokes are very devestating. I have also had uncles who had strokes, and my mother-in-law had a very severe stoke in about 1989 or so. She remained in wheel chair from that time on until her death. One side of her was paralized, her speech and thinking was affected, and her personality changed. Carol's nephew had a stoke, but he can get around fairly well, can talk fairly well, and his thinking is improving. It altered his disposition, and he got into a fight with his nephew because of it, and they were ready to duke it out right at the funeral home of his mother's funeral. The nephew left because of that not attending his grandmother's funeral. Some of these things can be very sad. God is our only hope, and in Him we have life eternal. :D :D

Our kids came from out of town, so I got a hair cut! My side burns were coming down on the side of my face more all the time. They usually stay in about the right place just from shaving each day, but I shaved them a little higher up near my ears, so they look short and trim again! It feels really good to get a hair cut after your hair has been sitting on your ears for a while, for a man anyway!
