November vacations

Usually, when there is long vacation, my niece and nephews spend time at home. They miss their lola and they really have fun talking to each other. Usually, they are also playing basketball. I feel like teenager while playing with them, too. But, the worst is that, they run fast and shoot the ball. I really love to be with them.

We have Veteran's Day on November 11th, and then they observe it on November 12th. A lot of the businesses are still open for business on that day, but any government agency observes that as a holiday. Thanksgiving is on November 22nd this year and it is a big holiday that most everyone celebrates by eating a huge dinner, traditionally turkey, dressing, gravy and potatoes, as well as many other foods. That is one day on which you are likely to over eat unless you are careful.
