Yes, m&m, it is important to be responsible and honest. All of have times we don't want to do what we need to do. Most all of my life I have been a highly ambitious person with lots of drive. I have had no problem working hard when I needed to, or even working hard when I didn't need to work hard. But there have been a few times that I didn't want to do what I needed to do, but I had to make myself do what was necessary. Most of my young adult life I have had a hard time getting out of bed, and wanting to get started for the day. Once I got up I was fine, but many times I would lay there and crave more sleep. As I got older, maybe I learned to go to bed at night when I needed to, but it got easier for me to get out of bed. I have been retired for a few years now, so I don't have to keep any schedule, but I still try to go to bed when I should, and get out of bed when I should, because it would be very easy for me to turn my hours around, partially because of the years that I worked at night instead of day.
Yes, God does see everything. We realize we are accountable to Him, and so we live our lives accordingly. Here this is still the winter season, although it seems like it should be spring. During the winter there isn't much that we can do outside, so it is a good time to relax and get some rest. Later when spring comes I will need to get busy with a few projects, but I am under no pressure, and I will not need to work as hard as I did to get my cellar dug/built, wall built, and so on. I will need to redo the back yard, but that will not be a huge hard project like I finished at the beginning of the winter. So, for now I am walking my 6.5 miles each day, watching movies, eating, playing the piano a lot, and doing this. We had 4 inches of fresh snow yesterday, and while I was walking it was snowing and the wind was blowing. Only for a short time one side of my face and my nose was cold, and other than that the walk was okay. When I saw it was storming I wondered whether or not i should even walk, but I was glad I did. During the night we had another 4 inches of new fresh snow, so the last 2 days we have had a total of 8 inches of new snow! Winter is not finished yet, and it is still time to enjoy just surviving the winter.
