You are right about that, Red, because if you do not love yourself, or have respect for yourself you will not have love or respect for another person. A person can't treat another person right if that person is in personal termoil. If someone has peace and love in his/her life than that person is better able to bring peace and love to another's life. We have talked before about God being the only one capable of having perfect love, but we all strive for perfection even if we miss that. Our daughter who lives near Spokane, has a husband whose family is a little higher up on the social economic ladder than some of the rest of us. They all have money, and if not they have good jobs and live like they have money. My son in law's sister fit into that category, and she became a lawyer, having money and prestige. She had such high goals/ideals for a husband that she was not able to find one. She finally found a guy who was really nice, worked at manual labor jobs, was out of work part of the time, but it is really working out for them. They have two very young children, and they appear to be very happy. She may be hard to live with because I think she is pretty particular about everything, but it seems they are doing well. He watches the children, is a house mom at lot while she works at practicing law. So, sometimes, while we are after someone who is perfect, we might have to settle for someone who has a little less perfection, but who loves us and is faithful and true. :D :D
