Thought for the day!

Postby crisipicada » Thu Jun 27, 2013 7:20 pm

Hate no one, no matter how much they've wronged you. Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become. Think Positively, no matter how hard life is. Give much, even if you have been given little. Keep in touch with the ones who have forgotten you. and forgive who has wronged you, and do not stop praying for the best for those you love.

For many trials, problems, and frustrations in life, I realize that how we respond or react to many situations, bad or good, is really up to us. Many things that we wanted to be and that we realize that it did not happen, but we become sad and frustrated.

Because of this, I realize and God has spoken to my heart about this message above. It become reality to me and it really affects my Christian life to be mature one. Many things that come to my life that sometimes I regret, but if you look at the big Picture, God is in control and He knows our future. That is why I become hopeful and increase my faith that God is true to me and that He protected me.

For those who have been through a lot of trials and problems, remain to have a pure heart and pure motive. We can correct our hearts and mind, and be renewed though reading the Scripture and meditating on it. Let the Lord speak to your heart and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Those are very good thoughts, Crisi! For sure we must hate no one no matter how they have treated us. This is a trial for me the last few years especially! I can look to the Lord to take care of me, and to take care of the other people as well. I can be happy knowing that God has it all in His control. We often have a hard time seeing the big picture because everything is so close to us, and we have a hard time dealing with the time element, but it is all in God's control. Many of our trials that we now cry about, later on down the road we laugh about them, because we then see that God has brought us through! :D :D

“Having no money concerns would be great – but realizing the immeasurable value of the people we care about is more important. We sometimes need a reminder that acquiring “things” is not nearly as important as appreciating the people God has placed in our lives. When we practice putting others’ interest before our own (Phil. 2:3Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves), we learn what it means to love, serve, and sacrifice. In fact, that’s how we pattern Christ in our relationships (Eph. 5:1-2Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour).
“ I want to share with those I love
The highest joy I’m thinking of,
Not just what brightens all their days
But what will give God highest praise.”
Love is never afraid of giving too much. Cindy Hess Kasper

Some of the things you said in your post, Crisi, remind me of something Sir Michael put on one of his posts some time back. It was and I might not have it exactly, but this is as my memory serves me. 'Some people value things and use people! Other people value people and use things!" Where people many times go astray is they love money, and money for the sake of money, not for what it can do. I had a Bible College Instructor who used to say once in a while, "Money is the root of all evil, but please give me a little of the root!" The Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He is our provider. When I worry about how we are going to be able to take care of all our financial needs, Carol reminds me that God is our source, we need to trust in Him; look to Him, and He won't fail us! God's desire is for us to be concerned about each other, bearing each other's burdens, and in that way fulfilling the law of Christ. We can do no better good than to love each other and to love God! :D :D

"There is no great thing, only small thing with great love"

This quote was written by mother Teresa. I am surprise of this message, that with all the days concern and doing things without heart or love, it is still empty and not working. Doing things with love will make you happy and contented.

Even how hard you are doing or simple it is, the secret of success and joy is to love what you are doing. I try to apply that to my daily life. While many pressures lately, I learned to trust the Lord and to ask for His help to love what work I have right now. And what an exciting day experience doing things with love. :D :D :D :D

Lust is about satisfaction. Love is about sacrificing, serving, surrendering, sharing, supporting, and even suffering for others. Most love songs are actually lust songs By Pastor Rick Warren

I feel that too. It seems that negative things comes to life and our thought are full of bad things and thinking the bad situations. In this case, I try to divert my mind, reading books, reading Bible, or reading the devotionals.
