That's good. I heard from my brother today that our cousin with his family are all alive. Thank you Lord.

Typhoon Glenda brought devastation to the Philippines. According to the news, there are 40 killed and more hundreds injured. Not only that, there are fire incidents after the typhoon due to unattended candle light while there was no electricity particularly in Manila area. Let us pray for this incidents that we can move on.

The PAGASA has been warned the filipinos to prepare for the up coming El Nina or long drought here in the Philippines. It will start this coming October or September. In 1998, it was the time when it took 8 months no rain happened here in the Philippines and it was a hard life I experienced. Not enough food and can not plant rice, no vegetables. Therefore, let us prepare for the coming El Nina. Let us prepare rice good for half year, more food to stock at home and try to find ways to plant vegetables.

You are welcome, Cheryz. Yesterday and today, the weather is so warm. Going back to the barrio thru motorcycle is so dusty. But I would prepare dust than mud. :D :D :D

Yes, it is good to have preparation for uncertainties. Who knows, in times of need, we have plan B to do if the other plan wont work. Yes, it is good to store rice, too. It will last up to 2 months. The taste wont change, but when stored more than 2 months, it would taste bad.
