When the reporter asked the students what subject most they have difficulties, most of them answer Math, and some English and then Science.
It was a training being conducted by the DepEd to teachers on how to improve teaching. Because they found out that based on the exam or survey, as I understood, we fall out 75% of the passing rate to be a good teacher, how sad.
The DepEd professor said, in other asian countries who excel in Math, English or Science, actually need not to learn or focus on speaking English. Like, in Japan, Singapore, etc. It is important on HOW the teacher able to teach and not english at all.
Well, I did not totally understand it, but what I can say is that, teachers influence a lot to their students, in their mental and intellectual aspect of life.
I am a graduate specialize in Math but I tell you, I have a hard time in Math too. But actually that was what my late father wants me to pursue. I did not regret but I hope I become a nurse or doctor.Anyway my niece just passed the nursing board and i am so happy.
