Melinda's Penpals has been a free dating site for the past 10 years for Filipina women to meet foreign men. I have had a mutual link to them since they began since they are a free dating site. They recently started charging some fees for some of their services. Today I got an email through my personal account, and here is what it says:
Hi Michael,
Is there hope for Filipina love?
For 10 years, Stephen and Melinda slaved away
to help men and women easily meet at
melindaspenpas.com.
But now they gave up, and I have taken over
the MelindasPenpals project. They told me they
had given up because there were too many
profiles set up by people who lacked basic
respect.
Now I want to know your opinion and story.
Have you already met your Filipina lady?
I want your help to figure out what to do with
this MelindasPenpals community.
Should I try to keep it as a free dating site?
Should I turn it into a resource center with
advice articles and videos? A community for
happy couples?
Like Stephen, my wife is also a Filipina. We
have been married six years.
I have recently written a book about how to
meet a Filipina - and also I recently started
an immigration document service.
Would it be helpful if I sent out a series of
stories and advice about how to meet your
dream Filipina?
Please hit REPLY now and tell me more about
you:
Where are you in this process, and is there
any way MelindasPenpals and me can help you?
Peter
I almost fell out of my chair laughing!!!! Peter is Peter Christopher who owns Christian Filipina. As the owner of that site, he relentlessly puts down free dating sites, so the idea of him keeping Melindas Penpals as a free site is so bogus. He has been trying to buy my site for 4 years, and it looks like he finally succeeded in obtaining Melindas. Free sites are competition for his pay site, and he despises us for taking business away from him. I always get amazed at how he operates his business under the guise of being a Christian.
