Do You Believe that Men are the WEAKER Sex?

I don't think that you can put gender into such a narrow box, and make such a generalization that either men or women are the 'weakest' sex, or that men are takers and women are givers. That is not how I view it at all. Some women are stronger in some characteristics than others. The same is true for men. There are men who are physically strong, and some of them might be abusive to women, but that can also be said about some women. I have known women who have physically abused their husbands, so in those instances, which one is the weaker sex?

The last time I was sick with the flu, it was the swine flu. I worked every single day that I was ill. I didn't want to work...I wanted to stay home in bed, but I had some work for the first time in several months, and I had to get it done. So I forced myself to do it. People sometimes feel a need to be 'mothered'. In other words, as an adult, they want someone to take care of them when they don't feel well, so they want 'mothered'. What does that say about a woman being stronger than a man when it comes to being or feeling sick? Sometimes a person does what they do because of circumstances.

I don't categorize a person as either strong or weak based upon their gender. I base it more upon their behavior. I think the same can be said as to whether they are givers or takers. It is based upon their character and upon their actions.

Which was my point. OP chose to make a thread that she does not reply to even once. She bags on men and curses them because of her bad experiences and casts a blanket judgment on them. Being a man myself, I am not upset with mouthy, angry, spiteful or scorned women. I am, however, saddened that another woman will resort to her emotional default to cast all men of the same cloth based solely on the jerks she experienced as if I am the same person she refers to. But she should know the key mistake she makes in her biased and angry anti-male tirade: She doesn't know me and who I am. As a result, she is nobody to judge me or any other man. She would be wise to remind herself that the next time she let's her feelings run wild.

Shocked? The fact that such hate can come from someone who, up until this thread I felt had some modicum of intelligence and reason. Now that is shocking, but not surprising with females like you these days! The point isn't whether you announced any names in your original post neither does it matter that I consider myself as part of your anti-male hate and tirade. Ah yes you gather this judgment based on the reply I made to YOUR post about YOUR attitude and YOUR unfair bias. Yes I guess when you see it from that point of view you would then reach that conclusion. Unfortunately, what you read is my reply to you and your attitude. Nothing more. See any change? No you don't. Reason? When you show a total lack of respect for men and drag the generality of men into the gutter, you don't expect to be replied to with total kindness and fairness and compassion for which you completely lack. Did I have to be equally as condescending and ignorant as you were by calling you "girl" and whatever else? No I did not have to be and for that, I apologize for my unseemly conduct. What I do not and will not apologize for however, is calling you out on your hateful, scorned attitude you have towards men. I have plenty of reason to hate you women and your very existence. I took the original post as tongue in cheek and it does not bother me. Can I just say that I have exchanged a number of platonic messages with chaychay over the months and have always found her to be an kind intelligent caring and thoughtful person.

Ironically I suspect that were ChayChay's future partner to get the dreaded 'man flu' her devotion would mean that she mothered him and cared for him to an extent that he would find difficult to reciprocate, thereby proving the stereotype.

Don't stop posting ChayChay. Thankfully I have reached that stage in life where I am laid back and relaxed and let others compete.
