Yes, I have an older sister who was 4 feet 10 inches before she started shrinking from age, and now she is shorter. She doesn't like being short either. But short doesn't detract from importance. Valuable people come in all sizes, and we are all important in God's eyes. My high school music teacher said that every person is superior to every other person in some aspects. He was saying that God made all of us valuable, and all of us have strengths and weaknesses, but we are all important as God sees us! I thought the terms were interesting "little but terrible," or "little but mighty!" We had a cook where we lived and worked for the last 10 years of our working lives. He was a little over 4 feet tall, and He carried a box/milk crate with him everywhere so that he could stand on it to reach things. Unfortunately he had a drinking problem, and because of his small body alcohol had a worse effect on him than most people, but he was a good guy. He had an advertisement music that he loved, and he would dance to it while he was cooking, then he would rewind it and dance again. I think that gave him pleasure, and then I think he liked the response it got/attention also, because everyone else loved to watch that as well!
If I could have a 4th wish, I would wish that my wife, Carol, would enjoy my piano playing. She likes it that I can play the piano, and every once in a while she tells me that I should thank Jesus that I can play the piano. She gets really tired of listening to me play it, and I do play the piano for hours sometimes in an attempt to get better, and then I enjoy it for both of us. She tells me it really gets on her nerves, but she is very good to let me play until she can't stand it anymore, then she begs me to stop, and I usually do!
