Are You Afraid of Being Single?..

Sometimes we like to rush things but we will miss the joy of every season if we intend to make things happen even if it is not right time. waiting for the right time, which is God's time is the most happiest thing you will enjoy. wait and in waiting, your will be happy in the right time.

After my grandmother, my Mom's mother, lost her husband she lived for years alone, but she visited and stayed with all of her kids, and she had a bunch of them. So she really wasn't alone, but she didn't have her mate. He didn't live a really long life, and he was quite a bit older than my grandmother.

My Mother lived from 1973 to 2005 alone after my Dad died. He died too young also, and my Mom live to be fairly old, as did my grandmother. Actually my Mom lived to be older than her mother did.

I don't want to live alone, so if anything would happen to Carol, I would be working to find someone, the Lord Willing. But our lives are in God's hands. We don't know how long we will live. It is up to God.

Afraid of being single?..... im 32 and single but for me, i think im not really afraid of being single (i dont know but) i think im afraid of getting/being old alone.... maybe because i saw some old along the streets sleeping and alone... asking my self why they have to end this way.., why they here in the street.., or do they have families, where are they?...or are they single and choose to leave and be alone here than to be additional load for them (relatives)....

Yes, when I was in Manila I saw some sleeping in the street, and it made me feel really badly for them. I wondered also why they were there. Really sad. Where we live people who are homeless risk freezing to death, because it gets very cold at times.

Well, sometimes i feel that. Because most of my aunties in both parents have many sister and brothers who are single. Maybe i will be one if i cannot find someone serious.

Whenever were in a relationship, there are times wherein we feel bored, miserable and uninspired..do you sometimes feel or consider being single for the rest of your life?..

Well, as for me, if living with someone means having a miserable life for the rest of my life then Id rather choose to be single forever! I am not afraid of being single because I know I can always depend on my family no matter how far are they! And the fact that I always put God on top everything I do, i know I'll be fine.. And secondly, I have my loving family and that makes the world go round for me..God+Family=Great Life! Agree??

On the contrary, I've read in the book Sister Carrie, the author mentioned a line wherein it states that Love is the most powerful thing in the world and that loving is the most wonderful feeling one can ever have! And in reality, I have failed not just once, not just twice not thrice, but many times already! I dont know why I cant find a guy who is so wonderful as my father! All the guys Ive met just left me with nothing! The only consolation that I can say that I really had with them is that they left me with nothing and left me taking nothing from me either!

But I never lose hope! Because i know someday, somehow, somewhere, that special someone I've been waiting for will gonna come and say those magic words right in front of me.. That's why no matter how many times Ive failed in love, I keep on trying hoping that I can achieved and seek what Im looking for.. As what they say, "No Guts, No Glory"!

I have been both, for long periods of time. Hard to say which is better, in the short run. Married is far better in the long run.
Single... what freedom I have!
Perfect control of my expenses.
Playing in the dating scene is an emotional roller coaster.
I have to admit I have had a lot more wild fun and adventure while single.
Married... What purpose I have to my life.
What stability!
Seems that I am accomplishing many things.
I feel a deep sense of connection and belonging with a family.
My best friend is mostly right there in the house with me.
