Having Low Profile

While i am at home, they notice that I stay a lot in the house rather than going outside. They said, I am silent type but it is just that I am shy type really. In person, I often silent and just talk after someone talks then. I do not share a lot about me, about where i study, where i work or even what i am doing. i am more of talking what my interest and what i am doing at home.

Okay, I have read some of the profiles of my friends on facebook that they are putting low profile. I mean, they just put their education as high school graduate but actually they gone more. Also, sometimes do not place what really they are all about.

My question now is, Is this being a lier or cheating? Or let us say, what is your purpose of writing such being low profile? Also, what are your reasons for not telling your fullname and using other name?

For me, I do not put my name because for privacy and for security reason. Also, I just let small people to be friends on my account like in facebook.

For me, I do not lie actually because I just want that low profile. But it is true that I have gone highschool. Hope that someone understand that.

Anyone can share their ideas please. I just really need your comments.

im also a low profile in social media like facebook, i open it sometimes just 5 to 10 minutes check whats new... i make it private for some reasons, some of the user of it try to duplicate your data, your name or whatever you fill up in your profile and also the same time with your pictures some of people i know they know how to edit pictures it likes how easy they can get to your data. let say they will use it your profile for there own benefits.

I cannot imagine how people and what people could do on this social media like in facebook. Anyway, I learn to take extra careful on it. But anyway, what is best is that we wont use that for bad things or be honest with our dealings.

many people ive known fake there identity at first facebook was begun they only have nickname then when the facebook trending to all social media some of my friends make there names real for some reasons first to see the updates of life for family, friends, high school and college friends. me also i have low profile i never put my Cellphone number or complete address and strictly for my personal background. im afraid that one day some of my pictures or my real name are using by others.

the people whom will gonna used your identity in social media. id rather be low profile than someone will used it. i read some post on facebook about it. maybe we must extra careful with it.
