There are people i knew that they are rich materially but they are brokenhomes. There are some who have everything in life but still there is emptiness in their hearts. There are people who have lots of good things, to mention, house, car, money to buy what they want but there is lacking which they cannot explain. Why? Because all these things makes a person incomplete. As you have acquire things, you keep on wanting more and if you can't then you get disappointed.

Having a relationship with someone above is the only one can give us true fulfillment in heart. God gives us desires in our hearts and we must give sanction to Him in all that we intend to do because there is always a good thing out of it. Do not trust your heart because your heart will always lead you in the wrong way for heart is the most deceitful things on earth as what is written in the book of proverbs.

Yes, Jesus talked about eternal rewards. It is much better to be rewarded by God above than to have our reward here on earth. Rewards here are nice, but the important rewards are given by God to those people who serve God and others out of a pure heart.

In general, being industrious will make you successful. If you work hard and do your very best, and if there is really a will there is always a way, then I do believe you will be successful in any endeavor in life.

Being successful, always include good relationship with someone you meet each day. Always wear a smile on your face, and you make someone's heart lighten

Being polite and kind also makes someone comfortable talking to you. Be nice and treat everyone, rich or poor, good looking or not, and give them your best shot while serving them. Having initiative and doing your full potential and creativity can make you successful too. Success never meant to be rich but having a good heart and a good life.

For me, you will feel that you were successful in life once you have the contentment in your self.. I, my self, get easily contented with small things that makes me happy.. I have been successful knowing that I am very much contented of the family I have right now.. God is too powerful that He knows what kind of family I need..
Others may say that in order for you to be successful, you must have faith in the Lord... At some point it is true.. But, what is faith without work? As the saying goes, "Faith without Work is dead".

I think the person you are or I am is far more important than what we have. Yes, the little things make life valuable. I have been involved in farming and ranching, working in saw mills, keeping honey bees, about 50 hives years ago, pastoring churches, teaching public school, working in the tourist industry, but the person I am is more important that what I have done or what I have. To have peace in the house, to have enough food to eat, enough clothing to wear, and a proper shelter from the heat or cold. We don't have enough hot days to worry about heat. It only gets between 90 and 100 degrees F. here for a few days, but it gets cold like zero and minus F. and the wind blows hard, then we are thankful for our heating pellet stove and our kitchen wood cook stove! It is very nice to have hobbies to enjoy also, like the music that I enjoy. Then to maintain my teaching certificate I just took a nutrition class, and now I know how to eat and exercise. My music writing notation computer software class was fun also. I am going to have to work hard digging my cellar as soon as the frost goes out of the ground, and that will be fun too. I dig a little, then I play the piano a lot, then I dig a little then I play the piano a lot, and that keeps me going!
