Smiley, it sounds like your family is pulling together to help each other, and help Nathan. We are still praying for his recovery. Help to clear is lungs is bound to help him. Also massaging Nathan's hands and feet is a good thing as well. I am glad to hear that Nathans older sisters are being dedicated and protective. You can be proud of your family, Smiley! :D :D

Today is/was day 9.It was decided to take Nathan off of the support and let him breathe on his own.As the sedation wore off he began to open his eyes and appeared to recognize me and then his sisters. He was put on a humidifier mask to loosen the hard mucous in his lungs. He smiled at me and even laughed a bit when I teased him a little.
Then everything went wrong and his airways blocked. The medical team had to scramble to deal with a multitude of issues. The end result is My son is back on life support and full sedation again.

Yes, Smiley, I along with Sir Michael and others realize these are trying times for you, Nathan, and his sisters. Just when it seemed that things were coming your way, they went the other way. We are praying for you and your family that the Lord will be near to you, and see you all through this with a good outcome. :D :D

Seems like a nightmare. Always keep hope and pray for God's help. We are with you.

I pray for your son, I prayed that God will give him complete recovery. We must continue to trust the Lord for His will for our lives. God giveth and taketh away. We only need to have understanding that GOd knows everything. He also answers our prayers in 3 ways. One, Yes, two, No, and the third is Wait. We need to be patient always because He is working in our lives and He will always grant our desires in our hearts as we commit everything to Him. He knows best.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God

We pray according the will of God. If we pray according to our own will we pray a miss, and God will say no, or like you said, Crisi, he might say wait, and what we want to happen now, may happen later. There are times if God agreed with what we are praying it might not be in our best interest, so we must trust in God to know best and do best. There are times that we don't know how to pray; we don't know what the will of God is, then we pray and say, "God, your will be done, your will not mine." There are times we pray in the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit third person of the trinity knows the will of God, and He will pray through us. Often our praying is with groaning, or even prayer without forming words to express ourselves. God sees all, He knows all, and He knows what is best. :D :D
