Me too, I always have glass of water at bedroom. I usually have dry mouth at night because of my inhalers that is its side effect but I gargle every after spray of inhalers.

Nah, I don't like unsweetened chocolates...that is what chocolates for should be so sweeeeeeeetttt... That is why I love them. Musketeers are so very sweet can't eat a whole bar. My husband loves them. Dark chocolates are my fave. I love hand made chocolates but they are expensive too. Have you heard BigBang and Cloud 9 here he he famous local chocolates you can get in sari sari stores ha ha

I had an uncle who had that trouble with the breathing, and then my grandfather also. I had a nephew who had a lot of trouble. Some of our grandkids have trouble and use inhalers, as well as our daughter their mother. Carol had a bronchial almost pneumonia a couple of years in a row, and it really took her health down for a while. After those two spells she keeps an inhaler, and uses it periodically when she has breathing trouble. One of the granddaughters has it worse than the others, and their her mother, our daughter is affected pretty badly at times.

I have never heard of big band or cloud nine, but they sound delicious! I think most of us like sweets. My Mom loved sweets. She used to give me chunks of unsweetened chocolate when she was baking, and I think that is where I got my taste for unsweetened dark chocolate. Dark chocolates are wonderful. I wish they had dark chocolates with nuts, but most of them are without nuts. I eat them anyway!

Dark chocolates are good for the heart. I think that is the kind that is healthier than other kind of chocolates. That is why I prefer dark chocolates. Okay Sir Ed, when you come back here in Philippines, go to a sari sari store and ask for Bigbang and Cloud 9 chocolates. He he...you can also find them in big stores here. But I don't really like them. But those are easy to get here. Just try. :D When I am dozing off at church I sneak out awhile go to store buy those chocolates to make me awake...lol

That's funny, Red, those big bang, and cloud nine chocolates really wake you up, huh? I knew there was some reason why I like dark chocolates! This is a day that we have had more people in our house than ever since we lived here! We had Carol's brother's daughter and a friends as well as some of her kids here. The daughter Carol's brother who just recently died. Then some of my wife's cousins came. Their mother was raised in the same family and Carol and her brother considered her their sister. So she is Auntie Carol to them. Then my sister, her first husband, and his brother came by to visit, as well as the daughter, son, and sister of my nephew who just died. The daughter is half filipina, and her family was from North Luzon, north of Manila. Both our twin daughters and their husbands were here as well. The twins did most of cooking and serving, but Carol made the breakfast/dinner dishes, and the food was all delicious. Lots of great visiting, and we all had fun! :D :D :D :D

We had new comrade yesterday assigned in this office. He was assigned here before and become the fire marshal to one of the municipality in Bukidnon. Now he is designated as Chief, Fire Safety Inspector. I knew him since he was a friend of my late father. I am glad we are already 17 in this office. I am happy that work has been divided and it makes work easier.

I have a ladyfriend from high school who has a horrible disease that is destroying her joints, she knows a young woman with the same disorder. Anyway, the younger one had a problem with one of the rods surgically implanted in her back. She had to get to Toronto for her appointment so I ended up driving the two of them a little over 400 miles for the round trip today. I got up at 5:30, went over and loaded them and their wheelchairs grabbed a coffee and off we went. We got her taken care of,had a pleasant little lunch and headed back. I got them back home exactly 12 hours from the time we pulled out of the driveway.
Neither of them get out very much so it was a real adventure for them
I`m really glad that I was able to make a positive contribution to their situation.

I'm glad that you helped those ladies, and that is a positive contribution, and you can feel good for doing that. That added a little cheer to their lives no doubt.

This morning our daughter called and told us she was coming up the hill. After she got here we loaded a clothes washer, a clothes dryer, a freezer, old wooden kitchen chairs that my Mom gave to her, and some of her other things; a full pickup truck load, and her car loaded full as it could get. She usually takes some food and eats with her daughter, but she didn't make that today, but told her she had to eat at school this time. The wall receptical and the pigtail for the dryer did not match, so because the dryer is electronic, I had to get another wall receptical that could have 4 wires connected instead of 3, and rewire that box. After we plugged it in it worked. We put energy saving twistie fluerescent lights all through the house. I fixed the door jam so that the locking mechanism would lock the door, and then put a new door knob on as the other was damaged. We also hauled a table, television set, computer chair, and an easy chair that some people gave to our daughter. We also moved some firewood. I ate television dinners with our daughter and granddaughter, and I am not fond of them, but I didn't complain either! After getting home I had to unload tools and things used to help move the stuff. I got home a little late after all that, and it is now 10:40 p.m., and I am eating peanut butter, honey, and drinking some milk!    :D :D

We went to church this morning. We are 10 p.m. Sunday evening, and you in the Philippines are 1 p.m., Monday early afternoon. It was a very good church service. The best song we sang this morning was, "Jesus Hold My Hand." The others were okay also, some that are played on Positive Life Radio. My sister gave us a stereo set. It is a good set with everything working including the CD player which quit working on the other one. The radio Positive Live does not come in good on this one as it did on the other, but Carol is happy to have the CD player working on it. The Preacher preached about the man at the pool of Bethesda, who wanted to be healed, but every time the Angel stirred the water, someone else made it in the pool before he did. Jesus asked him if he wanted to be whole, and he told Jesus that he couldn't get into the pool soon enough because he didn't have anyone to help him. Jesus told him to pick up his bed and walk, and he did. He was questioned by the religious leaders about who told him to pick up his bed and walk, and he told them that he didn't know. Jesus found the man and told him to go and sin no more lest a worse thing come upon him. The religious leaders were not happy that a man was healed, but they were mad that Jesus told this man to pick up his bed/mat and walk carrying it on the sabboth day. Jesus asked the man do you want to be made whole. The preacher talked about people who maybe didn't want to be made whole because it would change their lives. It was a very good message, just like all of this preacher's messages are. Very uplifting, and thoughts that you can take with you to help you each day.

We ate at McDonald's, then went to our daughter's home where we shampooed some rugs, swept the front and back of the house, and opened a bathroom drain. We didn't work hard, but just did a few things to make the house better. We had turkey and lettuce sandwiches on whole grain bread with pickles and chips for supper. We then went to Walmart bought 4 gallons if milk, a couple bunches of bananas, couple of huge chocolate hershey bars with almond nuts in them, and some cheerios. We got home somewhat late, and it was a good day. :D :D :D :D
