I think a dog or puppy costs anywhere from $200.00 to $600.00 or more, and I don't know exactly. A lot of times you can adop a good dog from the shelter for just paying a few vet bills. Our dogs were our granddaughter's dogs, and I think they were each free, given away to them by a friend. The German Pincher was given away by a guy at the Post Office. Sometimes when people get a litter of pups they are desperate to get rid of them, and they are very happy to just give them away. Often times the mixed breed pups are more healthy than the pure bred pups that they sell for a lot of money and have registration papers on. It is not hard to get a good dog for free that will be your friend forever. :D :D :D :D

Yes, that is one cut puppy! I don't like chihuahuas either. I guess they are a wild dog breed from Mexico that some of them have been domesticated. But I think down there they run in packs wild. My sister had one one time in the 1960s, and our daughter had one for a while until she ate her husbands steak, and after that he was angry at that dog all the time; actually he was angry about a number of things all the time. But the dog came to our house to live our her short life. I'm not sure why she didn't live very long. She just mysteriously dropped dead. We suspected her husband but never had any proof. I do like big dogs. Little ones are nice too, but I prefer the big ones. :D :D :D :D

Our dog, Rand, the one in the house, behaves different when Carol is gone. When Carol is her, the dog goes to Carol, then comes to me, and acts more normal. He really misses Carol because he has been following me everywhere, and laying down right at my feet most of the time. I think that he thinks I got rid of Carol, and maybe he is next!!!! No, just joking, but he does miss her, wonders where she is, and our youngest daughter tells me that she thinks that the dog is worried that I might leave him; never!!!! :D :D :D :D

Since Carol is gone with the camera I asked our daughter if she would come over and take pictures of our wild rose bush in full bloom, so she did that for me. My doggie, Scooby, wanted in all the pictures and our daughter had a difficult time taking any pictures of the rose bush without Scooby in those pictures, but she got a few shots without him. He is good doggie, and just wanted his picture taken. He didn't know she was taking pictures of the rose bush, he thought she was taking pictures of him!

Scooby decided he wanted to lay down for this picture. I think he blinked just as the camera took the picture, and it looks like he had his eyes closed. He will try to do better for the next picture. He thinks that he is one of the wild roses!

Here is another picture of Scooby laying with the roses, only this time he turned his head slightly. This is his yard, and he is very familiar with this Rose Bush, and when our daughter started taking pictures of it, he stayed right with that Rose Bush, and she had a difficult time getting any pictures without him it them. He loves to have his pictures taken. He likes the notoriety!

Scooby just loves to look at the Rose Bush! He has a real appreciation for true art, and his favorite color is yellow. I see him out there staring at that Rose Bush for hours! He does take a break though to get a drink and eat some food. He is also gone for his walk for 2 hours plus, each evening, and he misses the Rose Bush while he is gone!
