As money is know to be probably the biggest reason for failure of relationships, knowing what incomes and financial situations are in the Philippines is very important to understand BEFORE becoming emotionally involved with a Filipina so asking about Filipino incomes on a Philippines specific forum is smart. Personally I appreciate learning about Filipino income and financial issues from actual Filipinos.

If I met the right Girl I will Love her and I hope She will Love Me .. Money can cause problems in a Marriage without a Doubt . But To Me being Kind is Much More important . I am Not Rich But then again their are People poorer then Me . A Lady who Believes in God and Has a Great Heart and is in Love with You is harder to Find then a 1963 Corvette in Mint Condition . ;) At Least Harder for Me :)

I am all for love. But I am also for paying the bills! You can bet you will be expected to pay the bills if you marry so better know what the general financial situation is before getting emotionally involved. If I were to be interested in a school teacher in New York and I could ask on a forum what the income for school teachers in New York are, I would certainly do that. No harm to the school teacher. And of course I would want other pertinent information which I would obtain off her dating profile before meeting her, like her height, weight, any children etc etc. So knowing something about her finances just common sense.

I have seen this way of thinking expressed by both the filipinas who are looking for guys, and the Western guys who are looking for filipinas. I am not in the same category as the ones looking because I am married; so I am just here to have some fun conversing with whoever. If I were free and available would it be easy for me to find the right one? I think it would, but then I don't know, and I may not need to know either. With the filipina wishing for her guy, and the Western guy wishing for his filipina, it looks to me like they should be able to get together! What do you think? :D :D

It is hard to find a job here unless you are really smart or intelligent. Due to big population here, competition to find job is hard. Life have been so hard for us filipino but I also thank that all things work together for good. We have different cross in life.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God

Yes, Crisi, I have heard that you need a college education just to get a job that we here in the USA would consider low level meanial work. Sometimes I feel sorry for myself because of the troubles that I have here with a daughter who has decided that she doesn't like me, but then I don't have any troubles at all compared to the troubles that some people have. It costs us more to live here than say it costs people to live in the Philippines, and my money situation has not always been the greatest. I own two houses besides the one we live in, and renters have done me really badly causing me lots of financial damage, not paying the rent and destroying the houses. The County Sherrif lives behind one of my houses, and he said he was tired of my bad renters, so he helped get me a good renter, and I am thankful. The other house after loss of rent and lots of damage, I moved our youngest daughter into that house, and she was down and out, down on her luck, so I helped her without any return, helped her just to live; then she got a program that helped her play utilities and rent for a few month, so that really helped me a lot. Then she told me that they would not help her any longer, and that was really bad news for me because of dental expenses, property taxes, and so on, my financial situation is looking worse and worse, but then she is getting Social Security help because of not being able to work as a result of her husband almost beating her to death. So with her Social Security Disability on its way, it is good news for me, so I feel encouraged. Yes, life is a struggle but when we have the Lord, we can look to Him to help us. And, not matter what happens to us, we have eternal life, and we will spend eternity with Jesus and Loved ones in heaven, so there is a lot to be thankful for! :D :D

I just want to share this. I have incurred more or less a million from my salary loan since 2006. Those money was used for my father, my mother, payment of house that was taken by the bank and repair of the house etc.

And lately, month of March I pay the loan of 315,000. When one of the rice field was able to get by the owner. Now, I owe less than 100t and will be payed this year or early next year. Until now, I am still in a hard situation because of salary loan but the good thing is that, it is lessen to more than 90 percent.

yes smiley. I know that being in debt is not the will of God. I knew it. But I pray that I will be able to use those money in good things. And also try to pay that and not to run from it. hhahahahha. Of course, if the Lord leads me into marriage at least I settle my debt. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Some people seem to act as if having money is bad and being poor and in debt is somehow more honorable. People often say "money is the root of all evil". This is far from true. There is nothing wrong with being prosperous,in fact ,you can accomplish good things much easier when you are not broke. It is important though to come by your money in an ethical manner and to use it responsibly.
Freeing yourself from the slavery of debt is the best step to take, you will soon feel very liberated.
