We found some more of the "Waltons" episodes from the library, and we are having fun watching them. They start in the pre WWII era, before I was born, and the one we just watched was 1963 when I was an 11th grader, Junior in High School. They involve a large family, "The Waltons," who lived on Walton Mountian in Virginia, and operated a one family operated sawmill. The story involves a whole community, store keeper, two sisters who make moonshine, whisky, they call the recipe, and everyone in the community takes a drink of it now and the, and once in a while someone gets really drunk and causes some problems. If you have a chance to watch these episodes I am sure you would enjoy them! :D :D

I get to watch Waltons on tv everyday even if it is repeating i dont mind really. My husband loves to watch the NCIS. I like the CSI Vegas. I miss Catherine there who is no longer since she got offered job in FBI. Anyway, Iast night I watched this movie titled The Help. It is about the black women working as housemaids here in America in early 19th century. I recommend that movie to watch it is really worth to watch and also that Life of Pi. Now I am gonna finish the book I been reading it is Edge of Dark Water. :D

We watched "What I Did For Love," a Christian romantic movie. It was a pretty good movie, but this young couple's baby dies unexpectly during the night/early morning, so it was very sad as well. The movie has a little drama and suspence as well as a wealthy guy attempts to cheat people out of their places. He makes this young guy the sheriff as he has an office that he does that. The wealthy crook attempts to frame this young may for stealing a horse, when he was the one who set it up to move this horse, and the young man was merely doing what the asked his daughter to tell the young man to do. Anyway the sheriff takes his daughter off the coach as she is leaving, holds her until the crook comes with the young man. The daughter offers to witness against her father, and people get their land return and safe guarded as a result.

We just started watching "William and Mary," which offers to have some pretty good humor! So far Mary meets with this guy on a date set up by this dating company, and while in the early part of the dinner, the wife comes in to the restaurant and starts clobbering her husband right there at the dinner table. We watched it until William and Mary meet for dinner, but Mary is a midwife, and she gets called away before they eat very many bites. We will see what happens next pretty soon! :D :D

Thanks for re-joining the forum, Ms A.

She was inadvertently "hammered" (banned), and she was kind enough to accept my apology, and has re-emerged under a different username.

I welcome you and your thoughts and ideas and comments, and will leave it up to you to introduce yourself to the group.
