Friday, which was day before yesterday, and a half a day before that for people in the Philippines, we went to the County Fair. We went in a little early as we had some business to take care of in town. We got our business taken care of and headed for the Fair. We took a lunch in a medium sized cool box, so we could eat for less. We ate tomatoes, a rolled up sandwich with cheeze in it, and drank orange juice. We then looked at half of the exhibits, afterwhich we sat, visited with our daughter, and watched people coming and going. We then looked at all the animals, pigs, chickens, goats, horses, and cows. Then we looked at more exhibits, afterwhich we watched the steer wrestling for a short time. It is also called bulldogging. A big calf comes out of the shoot, two horses run on either side of the calf. The one horse with the hazer on keeps the calf running straight, and the other horse has the bull dogger on. As soon as he can he jumps down off his horse and wrestles the steer to the ground. The ridder who can get the steer on the ground in the fewest seconds wins. A number of them miss their steer, or realize that circumstances are so that it is no use to even try, so they get no time. We then went back to town to take care of more business. When we came back to the Fair we decided to buy something to eat at the Fair as it was early evening by this time. We went to Skipper's booth, and got three pieces of fish and some potatoes fries. Carol and I shared them, one and one half pieces of fish each. Then we went over to the Fire Department's booth, and got some icecream. I got a huge bowl of maple nut, and Carol got some kind of sugar free icecream. We walked around looking some more, afterwhich we headed home. We got home late enough so that Scoobie, the dog in the picture here missed his walk, which was sad for him, but he got his walk the next evening. Days are getting shorter, so I am having to start earlier, now at 7:30, and I walk him until 9:00 p.m., and it is dark by that time, but I can still see well enough to walk.

Compared to going to the Fair my next day was rather boring to describe. I got up ate breakfast, toast with apricot jam, and milk. I went out and dug for our root cellar as our granddaughter was still asleep and I couldn't play the piano because of that. I came in and played the piano after she was awake. Then I went back out and dug, and came back in and played the piano. We ate dinner, some chicken, radishes, tomatoes, potatoes, and beets. I then hauled our water for the week, and spent about one and one half hours doing that. After than I played the piano again, took a short nap, and dug again. I loosen up the hard pan and rocks with a bar then shovel them out of the hole which is about 7 or so feet deep. Then I shovel the dirt away again, so that I will have a place to put more dirt. The digging is very hard. I worked at it too hard a couple of days, but most days I pace myself, work a little, and then play the piano for my breaks. We ate supper afterwhich I walked Scoobie our dog. I went to bed fairly early for me as I was tired.

I got sprain both legs. I can not jog for the meantime. I walk very slow because my feet really hurts and swell. my day has been very good. I attend church yesterday and i am so blessed as i give worship and praise to the Lord. It is all about being glad to go to church and have fellowship with other believers. In Psalms 122 it is all about David was glad as her friends encourage him to go to tabernacle to give praises to the Lord.
In the afternoon, i always use to clean the house and prepare some stuff for the next day's activity. I am glad to see my niece and nephews after a long weekend vacation. Though it saddened me a lot that mom having high blood pressure but the Lord comfort my heart to trust Him more and always lean on Him. I am thankful everyday for adding another day for my life.

Weekend was great. Our youngest bro just had his birthday it was good to see all my siblings again. My girls and my husband got to experience bathing in a natural spring water, my eldest calls it forest. She was happy to tell her grandma she was able to bath in the forest for the first time. She was told to say "tabi apo" while on the way to the spring. lol . I lost my voice for two days due to cough. It was hard to speak at the meeting good thing i had my translator for sign language. lol

I am sorry about your sprained legs. :( Digging in the hole to make my root cellar has been very difficult work, and I have been making very slow progress. I am digging 12 feet by 8 feet and 7 feet deep which is down to bedrock. That part I am having to dig about 2 feet deep in the middle as the backhoe did the rest, and I am having to widen the hole from 3 feet to 8 feet. Then I am having to do all the digging under the house as the backhoe did nothing for me under there. At least 2 different days I worked too hard. One day I made myself way too tired. Either that day or a combination of days I put too much strain on my left arm and shoulder. It was acting like it was going out of joint and hurting a little, although my worst trouble from it was that it hurt in the night and kept me from sleeping. I have done less work since, and it is recovering. I also strained one knee and hurt the muscles behind the knee. It is not really bad, and I have been trying to be more careful. Tonight while walking the dog it felt good. I just have to be careful not to push myself to work too hard.

I think the devil has been working against us as far as church attendance. We were going to start attending this Pentecostal Church of God last December/January, and our granddaughter got into this huge fight with her father and his family who has been separated from our daughter for years now. The troubles got worse instead of better for a while. We were praying the Lord would help us with these troubles, and He did. Our daughter kept custody of this granddaughter, and she and her father had a talk and settled some things. She is 17 years old. Anyway I think feelings are good enough again so that we can attend that church. We do have Bible study here with our kids when we can get together with them. Worship and Praise to the Lord is important. I'm glad you are trusting the Lord and leaning on Him. :D :D :D

I ate some breakfast of two slices of toast with apricot jam that Carol made, and a tall glass of milk; always a tall glass of milk for me!  Then I played the piano for a short period of time. After that I rocked a wall to hold the dirt so I can dig underneath the water pipe to get it down lower in the ground. I fill over a place where the telephone wire had been cut by the backhoe; forgetting it was there. The phone repaire man spliced it, so I filled over it with dirt. Then I played the piano some more. After that I used the rock bar to break lose more hardpan and rocks. Then I played the piano more. After that we had lunch; tomatoes, vegitarian bacon, and two ears of corn with more milk. Then I played the piano more after which I went into the hole to shovel out the dirt and rocks. I had so much of it broken loose that it took me until after dark to finish shoveling, and I finished without actually being able to see what I was doing very well. We had a portion of a moon, so with that light I was still able to walk the dogs. I didn't walk them as long because of it being so late when I started, and Carol says they don't know the difference, although I think they do!

3 days ago i was so exhausted, i met classmates since we graduated last 2001 March. It was 9 years and a half that we did not see each other. It was a good time since we celebrated our 100years and centennial celebration of our school. My batch 1997 during high school was so funny. We talk about how our life was. Very funny reminiscing the past.

My college batchmate are a lot of fun too. We talked about how we did just to past Physics, chemistry and math subjects. With all the problem set everyday from different math subjects, all of us have the same answer and sometimes the names are being copied         . What a past we have together. I arrive home late almost 11pm at night. :D :D :D :D :D :D
An intimate relationship w/ God must b our highest priority. When U hav right or poor relationship w/Him,out of that relationshp flows everything else in our life. Thus, your relationship to Him determines how you live your life. It all relates to that

Today we had elephant ears to eat for breakfast and a glass of milk. An elephant ear is a very think pie doe crust with cinimon and sugar sprinkled over it. We went to town, met with our daughter to help her move a washer, a clothes dryer, and a freezer that we heard someone was planning to steal. We had other plans for the day, but when we heard that we went right to town met with our daughter helped her load those appliances, and now I need to find room in my storage for them which will be possible but will take some work. They are planning to move this 14 foot by 70 foot mobile home to their property out of town on the Indian Reservation near their family, and they have friends who have big trucks, so it will not be hard for them to do. They just need to get it moved sooned as it has been vandelized some.

We then went to Walmart, killed some time, and Carol bought a few items; a rack to put shoes on; she doesn't have as many as Emelda.    She bought a couple of things for the kids also.

Then we went to a speghettie feed! I don't care about speghettie, but I ate some, and there were green beans and lettuce salad as well. I drank more punch than I have in ten years!    The Pentecostal Church of God church where we went last Sunday, and I think we are going to go this Sunday put it on. We ate, then there were 5 people playing guitars, and one playing a harmonica, and it was good. The music was mostly gospel and inspirational with a few country music tunes thrown in. They crank up the volume, and so we sat a distance away and still enjoyed it. They played with enthusiasm, and it was fun to listen to. After the music they had a desert auction. The money from that as well as the money they charged us all to eat is going to Christian charities in the community, so it was for a good cause. We ate, but we didn't buy any desert as Carol is a diabetic, and it is not good for me to eat too much of that kind of food. We saw Carol's cousins who came from Seattle Washington to be with some of their other cousins, so that was fun too.

Now I need to work in my storage to make room for our daughter's 3 appliances that we brought up the hill. It turned out to be a fun day, and then we plan to go to church in the morning again. We were going to start attending at Christmas time of last year, but our grandkids' family irrupted into this huge fight that lasted for 8 months. The ones in this huge fight quit going to that church, but we didn't know that, and our granddaughter didn't feel comfortable going to that church until the conflict was resolved. Now there is peace again and she even goes to stay with her family members with whom she had the problems, so we are all happy about that.
