When talking to men or women online, it is best to ask questions that will enhance her or his personality. Like, do you go to church? Where do you attend church? Do you have ministry in your local church? Or what is your greatest desire in life? What is your ideal partner in life? Do you wish to have a family in the future? These questions will help you assess the person and you can decide if the person is really sincere with his or her intention online. At this point also you will know his or her thoughts about the matter.

Sometimes, it needs to care about the person so that you can gain his or her love. Do what she or he wants in life, as long as you will know him or her, then you can decide if you are compatible.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God

Forget about "online dating" . You can not date someone unless you can physically spend time with them. Online dating is not real it is an illusion. You can converse with someone online but there is no real online dating. Meet someone, introduce yourself but you are not dating unless you are spending time with that person. People today live in imaginary world of TV and video games. People are real, so must meet them for real. What is next online marriage? Online babies?

I agree, Crisi, that the kind of questions that are asked is important. Ask questions that draw the person out, and reveal their mode of thinking, and then you can learn a lot about that person. For some of us the questions about church attendance are very important. Finding out the other person's desires in life is important, as well as what they want their partner to be like. Finding out if the person wants to have a family in the future is very important, so that both will have the same desire, and not one does, and the other doesn't! :D :D :D :D

I`m somewhat inclined to agree there BBG. It`s one thing to communicate online but to call it dating is a bit of a stretch. When you spend time with someone you can do everyday things together and get a feel for how well the two of you mesh.Little things like tone of voice and physical reaction to stimuli around us can tell a lot about who we really are.Email can be edited to look good but by then it has lost the personality of the author. Some people might indulge in it,and some may be successful but I would never consider the relationship as bona fide without some quality time together.

Wow! mystic, what an impressive list of questions. They cover all the angles! Are we willing to answer those questions honestly? Then that would give other people a pretty good idea of what we are like and what we want. Technology has advanced so much in the last few years that a person can get an idea about what someone else is like using that technology. At one time it was a long process just to get a letter sent from one place to another, and then hope it would get there. Then telegraphing came in. Then the mail got a little more reliable and faster. Then the computer age came in when we could send emails to people. Chat came in, and people chatted with other people who had common interests on certain subjects. Then video chat came as well as people being able to talk on the telephones. I know we have this ongoing argument whether a person can date using the internet or not. I think a person can get a pretty good idea about what people are like using the internet. Then there comes a time when they must meet face to face to get a better idea. So I think modern technology is wonderful for helping people to connect with other people who have similar interests. Whether you want to call it online dating or not, the key thing is to watch! :D :D
