Our help is in the Lord. We just have to trust in Him to keep us.

I am trusting the Lord to help me with the healing of my back, and also so that my stomach will get better. I do have troubles with my back periodically, but seldom or never with my stomach, but it will all get better.

Today we went down to take our granddaughter to her doctor's appointment. Then we tried to replace burners and knobs on an electric cook stove, but one of the knobs will not turn, and two of the burners will not work, so I am going to dump it and get a new one. The automatic dishwasher has a broken latch, and without that latch it will not work. I am buying a latch, and if that doesn't work I will dump it and get a new dishwasher also. One thing wrong on the dishwasher and I will fix it, but if I find more that than wrong I will not put more money into an old dishwasher. We ate a Kentucky Fried Chicken, and then came home. I donate part of my biscuit, part of the chicken skin, the mashed potatoes and gravey, and the beans to Scooby. It is a treat for him!

This morning I got out of bed and got ready for my day. Carol doesn't feel like getting up early, so I let her sleep. I ate a bowl of cooked oatmeal with milk. I headed for town after getting a few things ready. I pulled a dual variable speed switch and dimmer/brighter switch that was broken. The fan part of the switch was sheered off. So I went to the hardware store, and bought a new one. I was very careful to not get the electrical wiring colors mixed up. But then the new switch did different things. The fan part ran the light, and the light didn't come on at all. I switched wires around until I had both working, but the wrong switch did the opposite of what it was supposed to do. Usually you hook a black wire with a black wire, and a red wire with a red wire, but I had to mix colors to get the fan button to operate the fan, and the dimmer/brightener button to run the light. Eventually I got them to work. Then I put some latches on the down stairs windows. I ate my lunch then. Two small pork chops, one apple, a mixed fruit and jello dish, and orange juice. Then I finished my window latch work afterwhich I puddied, actually glazed two window glass panels in where window glass was broken. I got a call from Hot Dog's Grandpa's cell phone. I anwered, but no one spoke, so I called the number back, and asked if my daughter was there, and called her by name. The little Indian girl said, "No, she's not here." So I asked her if she intended to call me. She said, "No, but Happy Easter!" I thought it was kind of cute! Hot Dog is our daughter's husband, so I recognized that name. He was a suicide hill runner in the Omak Stampede for years, but now he has arthritis so badly that I don't think he can run that race anymore. Then I came home. Ate tater tots, fish, and varied green types of lettuce salad, so dressing, just ate it with my fingers. Drank a glass of milk. Now I have just finished eating peanut butter, honey, and drinking more milk. I left for town too late to get finished early, so I missed my walk with my dog Scooby. I normally walk him for about 2 hours, and we all have fun, including the dog that goes along to chase birds!

Today is Sunday, therefore it is Lord's Day. As the Bible says, not forsaking the assembling... so i attend church today.

Our speaker was Brod. Al Clay from Texas, he speaks about Christ love, wherein He lay down His life because he loves us.

Also he speak about Peter who betray Christ 3 times when the time Jesus was crucified, as we christian too betray God, but God loves us so much and is willing to accept us and forgives us.

Happy Ester Sunday.

We did go to the Performing Arts Center when our Free Methodist church combined their two services into one and had it in a larger place. When I played with the orchestra I was always either on stage, or in the orchestra pit playing for the shows. We sat on the very last row at the top. The music was plenty loud, but the quality was not as good as it should have been, but with a very large place to fill sound, that is probably the best they could do. We are not used to the worship/praise music, rather hymns are our music, but we are getting accustomed to it. The preacher talked about the two on the road to Emmaus, and it was it. It was very good to be in church, and as you say, Crisi, we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, and so much more as we see the day approaching. :D :D :D :D

Mondays are difficult sometimes after an exhausting weekend even if it is fun sometimes. Then by Fridays a person can be tired from the week ending, and then not feeling well is not fun.

We live an hour away from town, partially because of bad roads and my slow driving to try to save the car and the tires. Yesterday we drove to town, parked in the church parking lot, and we were already to go into church, but no, we couldn't. Our seventeen year old granddaughter started complaining on the way down the hill about her stomach hurting. She started the complaints before we left home, and Carol told her that she should stay home if she didn't feel well. No, she decided she would go. When we got almost there she started asking us to take her to someone else's house. Carol told her, no, I told you that you should stay home if you don't feel well. The complaints were getting louder and more sorrowful as we were sitting in front of the church. She said that she did not feel like going in to church. So we went home instead of going to church. We found out that what was really bothering her is that she had just learnded that her Dad was going to get remarried, and she didn't think they would invite her to the wedding because she doesn't get along with her Dad. She didn't go to school this morning either, so I guess it is really bothering her badly. We feel sorry for her. We have to also be careful not to allow her to manipulate us either because she is good at that too.

Today was highly unusual in that I was in bed asleep and Carol was up and going. I guess I must have been really tired, because I didn't wake up until 10 a.m this morning. I ate some breakfast and played the piano for a while. Then I went out and dug in my cellar for a while; hardpan, rocks, and gravel, and it is really tough going, which is probably why I am so tired. I should get it finished sometime early summer, I think. I have to finish digging it out, then I will mortor a rock wall to hold the dirt from caving in, then I will build a roof over it at ground level, then I will fill a foot or 2 of dirt over that. Then we will put a deck over that. I will have trap door with a ramp with cleets on it going down to the cellar, with a door at the bottom. It will be about 8 feet wide, and at least 8 feet deep; I keeping going deeper, about 12 feet beyond the house, and maybe 8 feet or so under our house. I have a lot of work to do on it yet. I work a little, then play the piano a lot. Then of course I walked my big dog for 2 hours, and at a piece of chicken, a mushroom that our daughter found for me, a bunch of carrots, and a quite a bit of cucumber sliced up. I will eat peanut butter, honey, and drink some milk shortly, then I will determine to do more work on my cellar tomarrow. I am retired and older than my Dad was when he died, so I am just enjoying life, knowing that I am still alive, and God is with us. :D :D :D :D

My sister came with her granddaughter who is half filipina. She told me that last fall she was in the Mall of Asia, and that made me wonder if she might have been there at the same time I was also there.

Early in the morning I played on the computer/internet until about 10:30 a.m., as Carol, my wife, sleeps really late. She goes to bed early and sleeps late, and most days she sleeps during the day also, and I think that has something to do with her deteriorating health. Anyway I stayed off the piano until she was awake, then I ate breakfast with her, and started playing the piano. She went over to the other house to visit with our family there, and I played the piano while she was gone. She came back about 1 p.m., and we ate a meat pocket, some orange slices, and sliced apple. Then we got a call from our granddaughter at school. She had an allergic reaction to pizza she had eaten. She was having trouble breathing, her lips were swelling, and she felt like her throat was closing, so we drove the hour down, picked her up from school, and took her to the hospital emergency room. I'm not sure what all they did for her as my wife went in with her, but she is better now.

We came home, and she ate something here at our house, and we went over to our kids' house, ate pizza, visited with our kids, my sister, and my twin cousins. They were the first set of twins after my twin grandmother who was an identical twin of their grandmother. They were the last set of twins from my grandmother's twin sister, but we have had about 5 or more sets of twins on our side. Our identical twins were the first set from my identical twin grandmother.

Because of the visiting, and it was a planned family dinner, I missed walking my big dog Scooby, and I think he missed it also, but I walk him most evenings for 2 hours each evening, so missing once in a while is not the end of the world for either of us, and we had a very good visit. We haven't seen much of them for many years, actually since we all grew up, and they are only a few years younger than I am. :D :D :D :D They are Seventh Day Adventist's so they will be going to church tomorrow, even though it is Saturday. :D :D :D :D
