You Own Today...

I learn from the past, but I plan for the future by focusing exclusively on the present. That's where life is at.The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.

You don't own the future, you don't own the past. You own today.Sometimes you can clutch the past so tightly to your chest that it leaves your arms too full to embrace the present. The past exist only in our memories, the future only in our plans. The present is our only reality.Live for today!

Though it is difficult to live in the present, ridiculous to live in the future, and impossible to live in the past.Nothing is as far away as one minute ago.I live now and only now, and I will do what I want to do this moment and not what i decided was best for me yesterday.

Don't make the mistake of letting yesterday use up too much of today.Let those painful memories go and not allow them to infect your thoughts, your goals and dreams. The past is gone and chalk it up as another life lesson learned.Let the past make you stronger and wiser and a better person inside out.

One today is worth two tomorrows.Leave tomorrow until tomorrow. The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.

I totally agree. When you lose someone you love it makes you re-evaluate what is important in life and understand the importance of today.

I believe that you wont lose anything. It is because everything that happens has a purpose. I believe that for the friendship of two, the patience of one is required

thanks for wise words, purex.... hopefully, in friendship, the patience will be mutual... or, at least "rotating" :D
