Each day a 6:00 p.m., I walk my big dog Scooby for 2 hours. I walk between my brother's cattleguard, and our neighbor's cattleguard which is a little over a mile one way. I start at our mailbox, actually I walk to our mailbox, then I walk to my brother's cattleguard, then I walk to our neighbor's cattleguard, and repeat that process until I have walked 3 rounds. I think I am walking 6 miles, although I should meter it with the car so that I will know the exact distance. It is amazing that the dogs know what time it is, because when it gets close to 6:00 p.m. the big dog cries and talks, and the other dog jumps and gets beside himself. They are so excited to start walking that as I come through the house with the big dog, the other dog is biting him as they start their walk, and then they chase each other, with the smaller dog being the aggressor, and then I have a big job settling them down so that our walk can get under way. We walk past wheat fields that have wheat heads now, as well as haystack rocks, bunch grass, and other grasses. There are many groundhogs, and I have a big job keeping the smaller dog from attacking them as I don't want him to hurt any of them, because I like those little creatures.

When I return from my walk, it is time to feed Scooby. Today he had a generous helping of Purina Dog Food, saturated with buttermilk. Carol started churning butter today, and then I walked past, took a notion to churn, and I finished it off. Now we have butter and butter milk. My Dad and older brother used to drink butter milk, only they drank it sour, and I think that is the reason I don't care for it. I might like it sweet which is the way it is when we churn, but I have lots of milk to drink, so I don't need to drink butter milk, and Scooby loves it in with his Purina Chow. I ate fried potatoes, and about 4 easy over eggs with runny yellow that is actually orange because of the chickens eating green grass. On our walk I found a huge brown bird feather, and I brought it home so that I can try to figure out what kind of a bird it came from.        :D :D :D :D

Tonight, I did not eat rice and viand. I just drink chocomilk and a slice of bread. I do not know why I lose appetite now. I am quite not feeling well now because I got a fever of being stress today. Many work and lots of submission.

When i am home at the barrio, I do not usually eat supper. I drink water and some oatmeal with milk and sugar. It helps my digestion and helps my cholesterol level, thus helps me feeling better.

This evening after coming in from my 2 hour walk with the doggies, I am having a large piece of salmon, a good helping of rice, and one fairly large carrot with a 20 ounce glass of milk. It is a very tasty and nutritious supper!

After coming in from my 2 hour walk with my dogs, I ate 2 chicken legs, a little helping of rice, and a huge carrot! I also ate 4 very small oatmeal cookies with a 20 ounce glass of milk. Then as usually I ate peanut butter, honey, and drank another 20 ounces of milk, after that I drank another 10 ounces or so of milk. I have had a thirst for more milk lately than earlier. I had to cut down on my milk drinking for a while because our cow was giving less milk during the cold part of the winter, but now we are getting gallon every day, as well as our kids having a gallon every day, so I am drink all the milk I want, and then we have lots of cream to eat, give away, or churn into butter, and we do all of them!

Kids are like that. They can eat, and then they can turn around and eat again! My Dad used to say when I was a kid that it kept him broke feeding me!

I ate 2 hamburger paddies. I don't eat the buns because I don't like the white bread; only whole grain for me. I ate a number of large lettuce leaves out of our garden. I ate a mess of pickled beets, and boy were they good. Then I ate a large carrot. I'm going to eat some peanut butter, honey, and drink some milk in a little while. :D :D :D :D

Our daughter's sister-in-law says a moment on the lips and forever on the hips. She is a quite a little overweight. For some people weight gain is a problem. Our daughter is not at all overweight and she works really hard physically doing chores/taking care of animals. She was on the verge of too much weight gain a number of years ago, and she did slim down quite a lot. She will not drink juices because she says even though she loves to drink them, she is afraid they will put weight on her body. Another thing she will not make very often is oatmeal cookies. She loves them, and she says that when she has them she has to eat all of them, so she just doesn't want them around very much of the time.

I walk 2 hours almost every day, and you would think that would really take off the weight, but I have actually gained weight since I started doing all this walking. Our other daughter tells me I am replacing fat with lean muscle, and she tells me that lean muscle weighs more than fat, and that is the reason I am gaining weight. I haven't gained a lot of weight just a little, but I don't eat enough to be getting fat, and I am walking 2 hours almost every day, so I guess I won't worry about it. That daughter tells me that walking that much every day I have to be fit and healthy, so I am going to take her word for it!
