I have heard from 2 people lately saying that Davao City is a safe place to be. One of them told me that just a few days after he was told that, that bomb explosion went off. He was actually in Davao City just days before that happened. Isolated incidents can happen anywhere. I have heard again that it is safe, and that is nice. I know where we have been while I was in the Philippines for 2 weeks dangers were lurking, but we kept alert, and we have people helping to keep us safe. Then we were trusting the Lord to help keep us safe also.
