He Still Speak

While listening to music this afternoon, I am so touch by the song entitled "He Still Speak" by Heritage Singers". I want to share the lyrics of this song and it I find it very encouraging.

Verse 1:
Amidst the hustling clamoring world sometimes it's hard to hear
The voice of God speaking to my soul
But in my quiet time alone when I approach His holy throne
His tender words fall gently on my ear

CHORUS:
He still speaks. I know his voice
Sweeter sound never heard by mortal ears.
And to think that God by his own choice
Would speak to me it makes me rejoice.
He still speaks. I know his voice

VERSE 2:
There are so many who still doubt that God can speak today
They laugh and mock when we say we've heard from God.
Yet, that still small voice of God is heard
Above the doubters of this world
His timeless words ring out with hope today.

CHORUS:
He still speaks. I know his voice
Sweeter sound never heard by mortal ears.
And to think that God by his own choice
Would speak to me it makes me rejoice.
He still speaks. I know his voice

TAG:
He still speaks
He still speaks
I know his voice
I know his voice

God is speaking to our hearts and been waiting for us to respond to Him in prayer. How is your communion with Him today? Is anything lacking or emptiness in your hearts? He is the one who can fill the emptiness in our hearts when we feel being down. Talk to Him because He is speaking and waiting for you to talk to Him in prayer.

Thank you for sharing that song with us, Crisi. That is really great. It is wonderful to allow God to speak to us, and to allow His communion with us to satisfy our souls! :D :D :D :D

Yes, sir that has been a blessing to me. I am glad that God is really giving me lesson to learn from His word and also from songs. It feels good to always obey the Lord. I hope that I will grow more in my walk with Him.

Yes, Crisi, God's Word and songs of Him are a great blessing! I am now playing out of this Hymnal, "Worship and Rejoice." A lot of the music is written in such a way that I don't have the skill level yet to do a nice job of playing those songs, but I am getting there. I am now at the song, "O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus." I have just finished playing, "Where the Spirit of the Lord Is." there is peace, there is love, thre is comfort in life's darkest hour, light and life, thre is help and power in the Spirit, in the Spirit of the Lord." I love that song! Also just before that is, "Blest Be the Tie That Binds." our hearts in Christian love; fellowship of kindred minds is like to that above." It is good! Then before that, "We're Marching to Zion." Come we that love the Lord, and let our joys be known; join in a song with sweet accord, and thus surround the throne." "The Lord Is in His Holy Timple." "Search Me, O God." and know my heart today; try me, O Savior, know my thougths, I pray, See if there be some wicked way in me; cleanse me from every sin and set me free." "Rock of Ages." cleft for me, let me hide myself in thee; let the water and the blood, from thy wounded side which flowed, be of sin the double cure, save from wrath and make me pure." "I Then Shall Live, by Gloria Gaither." as one who's been forgiven; I'll walk with joy to know my debts are paid. I know my name is clear before my Father; I am his child, and I am not afraid. So greatly pardoned, I'll forgive another; the law of love I gladly will obey." This song is to the tune of "Finlandia." "O Happy Day." that fixed my choice on thee, my Savior and my God! Well may this glowing heart rejoince, and tell its raptures all abroad." when Jesus washed my sins away! He taught me how to watch and pray, and live rejoicing every day happy day, happy day, when Jesus washed my sins away!" Wonderful thoughts put to melody and harmony! :D :D :D :D

Many of us are busy doing things in the day and no enough time to read His Word. We are doing a lot of things wherein we forgot to do the first thing. As His word says, Seek you first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. The secret to have enough is to seek Him first and He will just flow the blessings to us. Did you seek Him first today?

"He still speaks. I know his voice" some of the lyrics to the song posted by Crisi

Jesus says that His sheep know His voice. They will not follow or go after another. The ones who walk with Jesus know His voice. I think sheep are much like cows. I don't know much about sheep, but years ago I had a lot of experience taking care of cows. When I was a teen ager, my Dad would walk out through the cows with a light during calving time to inspect them, so that he would know which cows were going to have calves, and then he would be able to keep a closer eye on them. They knew his voice, and late at night when he was walking through them they would not even get up because they knew him, and heard his voice. If he had someone with him going through those same cows a lot of them would get up and stir around, and they would not be as settled. It is good to know the voice of the Lord and to talk with Him, and He with us. We make our requests known to him, we praise, worship and adore Him, and we listen for his voice when He speaks to us. :D :D
