I was raised by my single mom, since my parents got separated when my mom was 4 months pregnant of me. From then on, it was my grandparents who always helped her in raising me.
It was my mom who always provides my needs from the time I was born until I finished my studies. She really did all her best just to send me to college. Good thing I was a scholar student, that way I wasn’t a big burden unto her.
I am sharing you, this coz I wanted to encourage the entire single mom here in Jadeune to think positive and do all you’re best to raise your kids properly. Don't ever think that it's a burden unto you. Instead, be thankful to God that you have your own sibling from your own flesh & blood.
In time, you will realize how lucky you are for having them in your life.

Too right. I also have great respect for those single Mums on the site who include photos of their kid(s) as it shows how proud they are of them. (I realise not all will have a suitable photo). I love kids, mine are grown up and no grandchildren yet
.

i'm a single man
my neice left her 2 children with me(my great-nephew and great-niece)
when they were babies
having raised them both since they were babies (one is now 5 yrs, the other almost 7 yrs)
gave me more greater respect for the single mother
i, understand the sacrifices a woman has to make to raise children

Wow really. Very big responsibilities. Anyway all things work together for good. It makes you being more understanding and patient.

oh yeah..
as a single man i had to re-adjust my priorities from the things i want to the things they need
dont get me wrong tho..
they have been a blessing to me too
i had this big, empty house to myself and they added life to it and added purpose to my own life as well
they call me uncle-mom
and i can thank my younger sister for helping me out alot as well
she has 11 kids...9 boys, the 2 oldest are girls
if i need advice i ask her
she has been thru it all already
i still cant put the all names to each face either...lol
i dont know how she does either
