I need help here regarding my babies. They both acquired US citizenship by report of birth abroad and they been issued a USPassport from US embassy. And they are also Filipino citizen by birth here. My concern is are my babies need to get Phil passport so they dont have to pay exit clearance from Bureau of Immigration? We were notified by US embassy that two weeks prior to travel to US their passports need to turn in for exit clearance. Somebody said to save them from paying they need to get Phil passport. Help!

no need to get Phil passport.. kumuha ka ng US passport kasi anak sila ng kano tapos exist clearance pwedi nakyo mag fly!!!

Red, try going to visajourney.com, and ask that question, and you will get several opinions and hopefully someone will answer who knows what they are talking about. I think someone there will give you good information about that.

such an angel sir ed.....thanks alot of that brilliant idea. im on vj and i found user ninjones had same situation we have now. my husband worries about the fees so as much as possible we have to get away from it to save money.
