Funny title, no?

It's the title of an Italian song. You have to read the next line to understand the real meaning :D
Sorry if the translation is a bit forceful... it's not easy to translate Italian poetry.

I never saw a woman like this!
When saying her, "I love you",
my soul awakens to new life.
"So-and-so is my name!"
How these fragrant words
wander in my spirit
and caress my steep fibers.
O gentle whisper,
do not cease!

What's your idea about love at first sight? In Italian it translates as "hit of a lightning"... and it represents well the idea. I read about westerns going to the Philippines and... coming back with a wife. Are they all hit by a lightning? :D

Funny indeed.
Well, i think western men are mersmerized by filipina women. I also think some of these men are easy to be fooled. Careful.

It means that westerners or other foreigners find their true love. It shows that filipina cares more and being loving, too. :D :D :D :D

Yes of course, you will find the right one in the right time. Do not give up, she is just there waiting for you. I hope you find her then.

Love at first sight is often just an infatuation and fades away quickly.

I wonder if the lightning can renew everyday and last a lifetime...

Did anybody ever feel since the beginning of knowing a person the he/she is the one... until it later becomes true?
I don't think that it happens like the mentioned ligthting. I think it is more a sort of inner voice telling this to our mind and heart. But since it happens from the beginning, it must be a variant of "love at first sight". What do you think? Anybody experienced this?

I have Love in My Heart .. So Yes I think I could fall in Love again at first sight .The More we Knew about each other the More We Loved each other .. True it was but a Short time But a Part of her will always have a Place in My Heart . I would Always respect another Peron's religion .. I just ask that they respect My Love for God . My Favorite Chapter in the Bible is Job ..

Love at first sight works until you get a second look. Most "love at first sight is just an immature grasp at instant gratification.Another thread, started a few weeks ago.asked if the heart should be trusted. In the case of love at first sight I`m afraid my answer is 'no' First sight does not give anyone enough information for love to be a part of it.What people experience is something altogether different.Whatever it is,it should not be confused with love.

I tend to agree. But for this same reason, I cannot avoid a question. Isn't love at first sight purer? Because it lacks the constraints of the normal love (or second look). I mean, we all agree that love needs to be developed, we have to know the person well, etc. But when we reach this sort of "mature love", it is also full of constraints. It went through sharing, tests, accepting something, discussing something else, disagreeing about still something else. Mature love becomes forged for/tailored to the person who is the object of love. It's not pure, simply given without question, for the sake of love itself. Mature love is always an "interested love".

I wonder if the way is in the middle: living mature love as it would be everyday a first sight love... as part of giving oneself to the other, without question.

I thought love is love i didnt think of classifications. Love is to care and share to the one you love. Devoting your life to the one you love. Just like Jesus. You become one with the person you love.
