One day left??

For the last several years we have been hearing from theorists that the world will end Dec 21 2012.
I find it kinda funny that for years we were hearing from folks that were getting all excited with a bunch of theories,and now,with less than a day to go nobody seems to care anymore.
I`m not sure anymore how many "End Of The World"scenarios I have lived through anymore.

I will take my information on the subject from the BIBLE. We are clearly told that none of us will ever know in advance when the end of days will come,only that it will come without warning and could be anytime. Hold your heart accordingly.

Yes, Smiley, Jesus talked about the end of the world people, and what they would be saying. He said not to go after or follow them. Many of them have led many people to disasterous ends. We are all aware of the various times the world was suppose to end. My sister-in-law and her sister both believe that Jesus already came, and I'm not sure when they think He came because I don't pay much attention to that kind of garbage! As you said, Smiley, Jesus is going to come, and it will be as a thief in the night, and we must be watching, so that we will be accounted worthy to be in that number! I want to be one of them, huh? Well, Jesus said, "Go not after them!" We trust in God, and we make sure we are ready to meet Him anytime whether in death, or in the resurrection! We want to be part of that first resurrection!

If the Mayan civilization was so good at predicting the future I suspect that there would still be a Mayan civilization.I was never aware that we rely on the Mexicans for precision measurement and such.

Yes, we have all seen these predicted dates of disasterous and destruction come and go. This is like the story of the little boy crying wolf. He cried wolf enough times when the wolf did not come until when the wolf really did come, so one paid any attention to his cry. Well, the end of all things is going to come one of these days, but according to what Jesus told us, "No man knoweth the day or the hour when the Son of man cometh, and it will be a complete suprise! We just all have to be ready, because the days of judgement will come as well. We want to be with the ones taken, and not with the ones left to receive the judgements predicted in the book of Revelation.
