Proverbs 6:16-19......There are 7 things that the Lord hates and cannot tolerate: A proud look,A lying tongue, hands that kill innocent people,A mind that thinks up wicked plans, feet that hurry off to do evil,A witness who tells one lie after another

Yes, lyrehc and Smiley, pride was at the basis of Satan's original sin when he determined to rise above the Almighty God. Pride is at the basis of sinful actions today as well. God loves humble people! We are to humble ourselves, repent of our sins, and pray for each other. The lying tongues is very destructive. God wants truth and sincerety. The killing of innocent people is very sad whether that is done with abortions, or just taking a life, and God is the only one who is to take a life. It is all in His hand, and He does justly. Wicked plans have been getting people in trouble with God and their fellow man forever. This is the age that people do hurry off to do evil! It is an evil day, like the time when God determined to flood the earth and destroy wicked men with their evil. Witnessing is very important, and God is concerned that truth prevails. He wants justice met with people being treated right. In this day there is a lack of justice because of what happens as people witness one against the other and tell lies while they are doing that. We have many words to describe people who stir up trouble among friends, and none of them are complimentary. It is a terrible thing when people cause other people trouble, and we see it happening all the time. The people who stir up trouble are usually filled with jealousy and hatered for the other people whom they want to damage. It is like you have a wonderful thing going for you with someone else, and a third party talks behind your back, and tells terrible things about you that are not even true. Then the damage is done.

Yes, Proverbs gives wonderful teaching that is godly and can help us become better people with our living! :D :D
