Jaderune Pen Pals

You are all going to think I am crazy, and I guess I am a little bit crazy, but I am sitting here at 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday thinking how wonderful this heat feels. I don't have to buy wood pellets, and burn them to make the house feel like it does; it just feels wonderful! If I want to get up during the night and run around with next to nothing on my body I won't get cold, as I would in the winter time. Now if it were hotter than it is right now, which it will be in a couple of hours you would hear me complaining, actually now that we have two airconditioners in the house you would see our electric bill sky rocketing; actually its really not that bad, and I would not use it, but Carol really suffers from the heat. If she were awake instead of being asleep, she would be screeming, "Turn the airconditioners on; I don't care if they are going to make the electric bill higher." Actually no, she would not say any thing about the electric bill, but I assure you, she would want the airconditioners turned on. But since she is asleep I am just going to enjoy the warmth!

It has been cold/cool early in the morning because of rain and cloud cover. We haven't had that much rain, but when it is raining somewhere near and there is air movement/wind, then it is cool. Often later in the day the sun feels pretty hot. We are in the second of our hot summer days now the month of August. At the end of this month we could have frost and freezing ice during the night, although the days can still be hot. After this month, we are headed for fall and winter again, and that hardly seems possible. Then this heat will only be a distant memory, and Carol will be wanting the heating pellet stove to be turned up, so that it will be 80 degrees!
