Sir Edwin

Postby jadegil6 » Mon Sep 16, 2013 11:44 am

I sent a message to Sir Edwin's wife, Carol. I did hear back from her today. This is what she said:

Hello Michael, I think Dave is okay, but he filed for divorce on the 2nd of Sept. and is in the Philippines. He met someone on the forum and he is gone to see her and be with her. Sad day for me and our 3 daughters. we were married 45 years and he gave it all up for this lady. Hope he can be happy. Carol

:o  :o  :o  :?

What?????!!!! ,,,,,,,,,,,, wow, i can't believe he can do that to Carol. Guys and girls if you are committed already please stay in your commitment we don't come here to ruin our existing relationships. And I am staying with my husband James thru thick and thin. Well, just to air my opinion, foolish it may sound but it occurred to my mind that what if sir edwin is in Phils and is meeting a girl...so i was right .
Honestly, I am not happy for what happened for the old couple. It is just sad. Sorry to Ms. Carol I am with her.

I am very sad and disappointed but I have to remind myself that it is not my place to judge.
I have done many things that I am not happy to look back on.We all have our limits and our breaking points.Let he who is without sin etc.etc.

Over a period of time we all all come to think that we know each other, and to a degree we really do.There is,however,a few certain things that we do keep in our most private thoughts.I just hope that the emotional damage can be kept to a minimum and that all parties can know peace.Maybe we should keep them ALL in our thoughts.

Red,

I am as shocked as you are, and i don't run the site or the forum to cause problems in anyone's existing relationships or marriages.
I am not going to judge Sir Edwin for what he has done, but it does come as quite a surprise. I hope that both he and Carol will be okay.

I believe he had some remorse in regards to what he was doing. In his post dated Fri,Aug 31(How was your day?),he discussed dealing with unpleasant tasks. The very next business day he filed.

Oh I am so shocked about this also. We cannot judge and I do not judge either. After I read this, I say a prayer for Sir Edwin, "Lord wherever Sir Edwin now, please give him guidance and wisdom in all his decisions in life. We should be there for him in this moment of time."

Yes Crisi you are right, this is no time to start feeling holier than thou. He was our friend and should still be our friend. I am concerned for every bodies state of mind but I am not fit to judge a situation that I am not involved in.

I maybe overly reacting. I am in shock mood still. Wow, I was expecting he was enjoying so much on his tub. Sure we all miss him here. I prayed for both.

I would not believe everything we hear. Instead, I propose that Ed is still among us, seeing what we are saying. Maybe he is missing us. It might be a good excuse that he escaped with a Filipina, but I don't think this is what he did. Maybe he just has some good reasons to hide.

From what I know, he was living in the Washington area. Well, today he connected to the forum from a sat connection (Starband), which indeed resolves to Virginia. He connected from the same IP address he used the 31st of August, the last time he was seen on Jaderune. That's all I can figure out, because he must have taken a good amount of care to delete all tracks.

Now, the question is: did Carol have his password in Jaderune? Did Ed bring the sat with him, so that he can use it from another place? Or, did he go back home?
