Gising-Gising

Cooking Skills Needed:
How to Boil and Simmer
How to Sauté
How to Chop and Mince
How to Slice Vegetables and Fruits
Cooking Tools Needed:
Pan
Wooden Spoon
Chef's Knife
Chopping Board
Measuring Spoons
Ingredients
2 tbsp Garlic (minced )
1 pc (large) Onion (chopped)
2 to 3 tbsp Bagoong Alamang
200 grams Ground Pork
½ pc Siling Labuyo (chopped, Optional)
½ kg Baguio Beans (thinly sliced)
1 pouch (115 grams) Del Monte
Pineapple Tidbits
1 pack (40 grams) Del Monte
Quick 'n Easy Gata Mix (dissolved in ¼ cup water)
Cooking Procedure:
Sauté garlic and onion in 1 teaspoon oil. Add bagoong and cook for a few minutes.

Add pork and sili. Sauté until pork is lightly browned. Add baguio beans and DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits with syrup. Cover and Simmer until beans are almost cooked.

Add gata mixture. Simmer for 2 minutes.

what gising-gising? wake up-wake up? hehehe :lol: :lol: :lol: just kidding lyrech unfortunately i dont know that. i just cook only fried foods. :D maybe someday i want to learn to cook some special dishes for my daughter together with my family! i just have work thats why i dont know how to cook, i thank my mom whose always prepare my breakfast, lunch and supper. :D

just manage your work and try cooking for your daughter she will appreciate it, i used to cook for my daughter she always told me she will ate her food specially vege because i cook it for her. sometimes my daughter and i cook together and she will boost it to granny that she cook the food and eat a lot of it.... :D :D :D

maybe angel is to busy to cook for her daughter she only depend on her mom :lol:
i may not a good chief but im trying my best to cook what i wanted too :D i just love to cook chopsuey and pork preta, one of my favorite food.

Filipino Chopsuey Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 kilo pork, cut into small cubes
1/4 kilo chicken giblets & liver
2-3 chicken wings, cut into small pieces
1/4 kilo fresh shrimps, shelled
2 large onions, quartered
3 cloves garlic crushed
1 pc. medium sized carrots, round thin slices
1/4 kilo cabbage, chopped 1 1/2" squares
1/4 kilo cauliflower, break into flowerettes
2-3 stalks leeks, chopped 2" long 2-3 stalks celery, chopped 1" long
1/4 kilo snow peas (sitsaro)
10 pcs. string beans (habichuelas)
2 pcs. bell pepper, red & green, big slices
2 cups chicken or meat broth
1 tbsp. vetsin
2 tbsp. fish sauce (patis)
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 tbsp. sesame oil (optional)

METHOD

Saute garlic until brown. Add onions, when half cooked stir in pork, giblets, liver, chicken, and shrimps. Saute for 2 minutes and pour in fish sauce. Stir. After 3 minutes, add 1/2 cup water. Cover. When almost dry, add broth. Let boil. Season with salt and vetsin, and put in all vegetables. Cook until half done and thicken soup with dissolved cornstarch. Do not overcooked vegetables. Serve hot.

for pasta lover try this.........

Longganisa and Quail Eggs Spaghetti

Ingredients
2 cloves Garlic (crushed)
1 small Onion (chopped)
100 grams Longganisa (crumbled)
4 pc Quail Eggs (hard-boiled and shelled)
¼ cup Cheese (grated)
1 pack (175 grams) Del Monte
Spaghetti Merienda Pack (cooked)
1 pouch (250 grams) Del Monte
Filipino Style Spaghetti Sauce
Cooking Procedure:
Sauté garlic, onion and longganisa for 5 minutes.

Add DEL MONTE Spaghetti Sauce. Cover and Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.

Add quail eggs. Pour over cooked pasta. Top with cheese

your post is so yummy, its make me hungry grrrrr... now im craving to it. :lol: someone send me that spaghetti and chopsuey. i will wait for christmas eve, i know many yummy food will serve..

im also excited for christmas, 3 more days to go christmas time, family get together again. sharing, giving, forgiving and showing some love for this christmas. excited for the food my mom will serve. :D
