We had lots of winds, but very little snow so we had little problem/potential for snow drifts. We now have more snow and more of a possibility of snow drifts. There were some drifts, but the school bus managed to run, and the snow removal equipment came through later this morning. Conditions were ideal for dog walking. The plowed surface make it easy walking, and most of the dangerous slippery ice was covered. I did slip a couple of times, but nothing that made falling a danger. If the wind blows now we could have some very deep snow drifts. I walked early afternoon, just after eating dinner, and the sun was out making a very pretty day. I could almost walk without gloves, but I did put them on. My face was warm until my last 2 miles of my walk, and then I pulled my scarf up on my chin where my warm breath hit the scarf keeping my face plenty warm. It was a very good walking day. The doggies didn't have much they wanted to examine, so we kept a good pace. The German pincher was off out through the deep snow having loads of fun!
