" There's an old fable that talks about an old man who found an eagle's nest egg and put it in a nest of a barnyard hen. The eagle hatched with the brood of chicks and grew up with them. All his life the eagle did what the barnyard did,thinking he was a barnyard chicken.He scratched the earth for worms and insects. He cackled and cackled. And he would trash his wings and fly few feet high in the air.



Years passed and the eagle grew very old. One day he saw a magnificent bird above him in the cloudless sky. It glided in graceful majesty among powerful currents with scarcely a beat of it's strong golden wings. The old eagle looked up in awe." Who's that?" , he asked. "That's the eagle,the king of the birds,",said his neighbor."He belongs to the sky. We belong to the earth,we're chickens."



So the eagle lived and died a chicken,for that's what he thought he was..

How sad when we,who are the children of the King,live as chickens when we could fly like the eagles!

What if I thought of myself as the leader of the free world, would that make me that? We all know the answer to that question. But there are some ideas or attitudes that a peraon can have about themselves that help to shape them into who they become. So keep a positive image of yourself, and keep your self-esteem at a high level, and you will become a better person for it.

"tell me who your friends are and i will tell who you are" - this saying is very familiar. Sometimes, who we are with influence our personality and sometimes what we become. Choose friends that will give you right influence. On the other hand, if someone needs to be cheered up, be the one.

hahaha, i still THINK i am 17 years of age ... (when i see a photo, i wonder who that man with the white hair and a white beard is... hahaha)....

but, yes, our thoughts are a very important influence on our health and happiness... because it is the "engrafted word of God" that heals and makes our psyches whole ["saves our souls"] [james 1:21-25] .... "hope deferred makes the heart sick" [proverbs 13:12], but "a cheerful heart brings healing and health" [proverbs 17:22] ....
