What kind of music do you like?

Almost every night before I go to bed, I always listen Christian music. It is because it lightens my heart and reminded me of Christ great love. I do not deserve to be loved by Him but He is so loving to me, I can feel that. People fail us but God never fails and He is always there for us wherever we go. God is always present in every situation that we have even we are unnoticed about His presence.

Yes, Crisi, there is a song that part of it is, "Who can cheer the heart like Jesus," and that is very true. When we listen to music that has God in it, it does cheer our hearts, and makes our days good. There's another song that part of it is, "You can have a song in the night." None of us deserves God's love, but He loves us. Yes God's presense is with us even when we are not aware of it!

I just thought of a really nice chorus that we used to sing. It is, "Come and go with me, to my Father's house. to my Father's house, to my Father's house, Come and go with me, to my Father's house, where theres joy, real joy." Then it is sung where there peace real peace, and I don't remember the other endings, if there are any, but it is a fun song!

Information Society, on the other hand, IS my thang! hehe It has been a LONG time since IS, Dead or Alive, Neworder, Berlin etc... Brings me back to my youth... unfortunately that is VERY TELLING....

Can you believe that I have a son-in-law, the one who is still mad at me, who does not like music. When I was at their house and playing the piano, he would sigh loudly, and that was my cue to stop playing the piano. Our daughter apologized, and told me that he just does not like music!!!! It is funny and strange because his two kids both play the piano and guitar and sing beautifully. His son, our grandson spent a year at Hillsong in Australia, and is now the Youth Pastor and Worship Leader in an Assembly of God church on the East Coast. It is strange to me when someone just does not like music, and then has two children who are talented musicians with more natural ability than I have!!!! His son, our grandson confided in me that his Dad did not want him to play the piano where it could be heard, and his style would make anyone enjoy the piano playing!

I did watch it all the way and it was great. I don't even like that song, but that sounded great. Talent in the most unlikely places.
