You are in love, or love someone and they don't respond the same way with the return of "I love you, or I am in love with you." It is best not to say these things if they really are not true. It is hard if someone says things that gives the other person hope and then later decides that they don't really feel that way. What happens is the other person has been built up, and then shortly after is let down. A love affair has to develope mutually, and both people have to participate in it in order for it to work. It is true we can fall in love with what we wish the other person were. Everyone is different, and some may feel in their hearts a love, but be poor at communicating that. It has to be communicated or the other person will be left wondering. I think the most wonderful thing while falling in love is having it be mutual. I think the most frustrating thing would be not to have that love recipricated.

Actually, every day is a chance or opportunity to treat people as God's creation and show love. If you truly love someone, there is no need for you to expect to love you back. Oh so hard but this is what I am trying to apply in my life. If you love someone, just show kindness and help and later on maybe he or she will realize that you are not hard to love back. Who knows, he is just waiting for the right time to tell you that he likes you and loves you in the process.

Yes, God wants us to show love even if it is not returned. Yes, it is so hard to do that. This way is not what the natural man does. He does not love anyone without being shown love. God loved us when we did not love Him. God tells us to do nice things for other people even when they do not appreciate it. God sends his rain on the just and the unjust. He expects us to love even if it is not returned. It is so nice when you love and it is returned, right? It is hurtful to fall in love with someone who does not love you in return. Yes, pray for that person, because God can cause them to love you!
