Yes, Smiley, you are 3 hours, or time zones ahead of us. I have had that same experience of being too busy to think about eating. Then often I have eaten on my way home almost before the next meal is ready. A former neighbor observed that I didn't eat until after my walking, and he didn't think it was good for me to eat that late, but I do all the time when I am walking. But, then I don't go to bed immediately after I eat either, but I allow enough time for the food to digest a little. If I am hungry I will eat no matter how late it is, but it probably is not good to over eat that late either. This time of the year when I am late getting back from my walks because of the long daylight hours, Carol cannot wait to eat with me, but she usually has already eaten. With her diabetes I think it is important for her not to wait too late to eat. If she is not sleeping, and she gets up to eat something as harmless as cheerios and milk, her blood glucose level is high from that the next morning. So, she tries not to eat late, but if she can't sleep, sometimes eating something helps her to sleep, but then it causes her blood glucose level to become elevated.
