Food and Sex

Postby Edwin » Tue Jul 03, 2012 4:34 pm

I saw an article on Yahoo News, but I didn't read it. There was a picture of a young lady in bed eating. The subject of the article was that one in three single young ladies prefer their favorite food to sex. That means that 2 out of 3 young single ladies prefer sex to their favorite food. I did look it up later and read the article, but it didn't make a lot of sense to me. More men prefer sex to their favorite food than do women. In the first place single women or men should not be having sex, but then that is the world's point of view, and we who are Christians have a different belief system and higher standards.

Another idea is about the connection between food and sex. A psychology teacher in the 1980s said that when a man and a woman feed each other, like with their fingers putting food in the other person's mouth that action has sexual implications. When I was in one of those classes where there was some food, a young lady who was just a friend did that to me. She picked up some food and put it in my mouth. Carol was right there, and she never commented about it, and I never thought any thing about it. She was just a class mate and a friend. Maybe she has those thoughts in her mind, but I didn't and was not even aware until this teacher talked about that.

Another thing that was brought out is that if you do not eat nutritious foods, and have a balanced diet you will not have the energy to have sex, so you have to have food if you are going to have sex! The other thing that was brought out is that people will have a romantic dinner, with a little wine, which I would not drink, and they get too full, and the wine has an adverse effect on sex, so after that romanic dinner, instead of having sex they go sit in front of the television set, which is the worst thing they can do. They should get out and exercise. Without exercise people will not be in condition to have sex, so exercise actually augments sex.

Chocolate is mentioned as complementing sex, and there was another food mentioned also, but I can't remember what food that was. The reason given that chocolate complements sex is that Chocolate lifts the spirits, and that makes you want to have sex, and makes sex feel better for you! :D :D :D :D

Hmmm honestly, i prefer food over sex. I dont know at my age now gosh i love to eat. I crave seafoods crabs, oysters, lobsters! I want to go west side of mindanao island to eat those sea creatures. I am planning on buying some and make seafood curry. Kinda hot chilly spicy crabs and lobsters.
There are certain foods that boost sex appetite. The ones i know are Oysters, Squid, Chocolates, Durian fruit, and Balut. I like the squid in a form of Calamares dip it with hot sauce. Yummy!

I use bare hands sometimes when eating. It actually boost more appetite on eating. But i make sure to wash hands before eating. I also use barehands when i feed my girls when they were babies. They eat more whenever i do it. Some may find it gross. But hey most Filipinos do it. I love eating using bare hands instead of spoon when at night cafe in cdo. Or in fastfood when eating fried chicken or fried fish dip it with soy sauce and vinegar and little bit of chilli. Im hungry now so its cha time! He he

I don't see anything wrong with using bare hands to eat. I do that a lot myself. I use large spoons for most of my eating, but chicken, steak, roast, I use bare hands. Seafood is my favorite food, and I love all of it! I know according to the law of Moses, there are some seafoods that we are not supposed to eat, but we never observed that at all. Peter was told to kill and eat, even things that were thought to be illegal to eat, so I think we can eat anything in moderation. I like to limit my pork intake, but I love to eat it. We try to cook pork well. Actually I like all my food cooked well, except eggs over easy with the white solid and the yellow runny! I forgot to write in the above post that some suggested that when you have a craving for something, or you might eat too much, or gain weight it is good to have sex! I don't know about that; it is just what I have heard.

I have always thought feeding someone else by hand or at all for that matter was an extremely intimate act. I h ave never done it to a casual friend. It is probably more the way you are raised than some kind of biological response though.

People talk about comfort foods. I think all foods are comfort foods, but maybe some more than others! I think it might be too appealing to get more comfort while eating tastey foods. Maybe that is why I am eating so well while Carol is gone. This time of her being away I have been eating better and eating more than I usually have done when she has been gone. I have been working pretty hard to, so I have been burning lots of calories, and working hard, being busy, makes the time go quickly! Of course she is gone a quite a long time. At first I didn't realize how long she would be gone, and then she told me they would start back the 7th, and then it takes 2 or 3 days to make that trip on the train, then after that she will be too tired to come home immediately as I think they arrive in the middle of the night, and she wants to spend a day with our daughter at their place. Well, it works out to be from June 19th to July 11th, and that is a long time! But now it is only one more week! :D :D :D :D

Alcohol and some drugs, I think, adversely affect sex. They say that alcohol can cloud your judgement and you want to have sex when it shouldn't take place. Alcohol they tell me makes people want to have sex, but makes them less able to perform. They want to, but they can't. Blood sugar also adversely affects sex. When a person has their blood sugar drop, as happens with people who are hypoglysemic, then they are not able to perform sexually. So, the best advice for sexual health, is to eat right, get the right nutrients, and get your exercise, as well as getting enough rest. Also having good attitudes and a sense of well being helps as well. :D :D :D :D

Have you ever heard the expression, "food for thought?" I think what it means is that you give someone information, and then tell them to think about it. Well, what we are talking about here is food for sex! Actually the best thing you can do for sex is to eat right, exercise, and get your rest! If you eat too much or the wrong foods it can ruin your sex life. If you drink alcohol or take drugs it can also ruin your sex life. If you sit around all the time and don't get any exercise it can ruin your sex life. And the interesting thing is that eating right, getting exercise, and getting enough rest can make you healthier and help you to live a long and healthy life! So work hard, play hard, eat right, get your exercise, and spend enough time resting!    :D :D
