What Filipino Qualities Do You Admire Most?

Although I do tend to admire a filipina on the outside, as they tend to be petite and darker, it is most important to see the inner beauty.

I guess, after all these years, I would value loyalty above all else. I feel without Loyalty all else is pretty much worthless.

I believe that. It is important to consider the inner beauty of a person. Who wants to live with someone who is bad attitude or bad temper? Who wants to stay with someone who will not understand your feelings and your concerns? Of course i wanted to be a good wife in the future. THat is only by the grace of God but that is my prayer.

Well I am glad that you could learn this lesson so early in life. It took me quite a few tried before I got it into my thick skull. Still not sure it sticks, as a pretty face can still turn my head. But I have seen so many ugly people emerge from behind a pretty face, that I am rather jaded when I meet someone now. I wish I could be as carefree as I used to be.

My sister-in-law's mother, who has been dead for many years now, always said, "Pretty is as pretty does." What she meant by that is that some very pretty people do some pretty ugly things, and less than beautiful people do some really nice things. Well, beautiful people do beautiful things as well. It all depends on what is in their hearts. A heart yielded to God will do beautiful things regardless of the physical beauty or lack of it!
