I had an interesting visit to the Danao Childrens Centre supported by this website.

I cannot over emphasise what a tough job Manny has to keep the Centre open. If I understood correctly, Manny gets enough money for about 5 months of the year from the City Council. The rest he has to raise and he tells me he often has to make payments from his own personal funds.

He has a plan to set up a business making traditional jewellery to provide funds and to give work to some of the local ladies. He needs seedcorn funding.

If you men from the West view the JadeRune website, please, please also make a donation via Michael.

I made a mistake. I bought T Shirts for the kids, I should have bought a sack of rice for the kitchen. It gets that desperate.

So Please - GIVE MANNY YOUR MONEY IN 2010
