My wife's family was considered to be a dumb bunch, although it really was not true. One of them was a medical doctor, and others were successfull in various other ways, like the piano, violin, etc. My wife's brother had that label also when he was a kid, but he, materially anyway, he has been more successful than most. He lives in the Philippines, and he is rich by our standards anyway.

Crisi is correct it is good to be content with what we have. "Godliness with contentment is great gain."

How do you define SUCCESS? Is isn't material things? Relationships? I heard about this thought "Some people who are successful in work is not successful in love life". Do you agree with this?
