Happy New Year

Postby Edwin » Thu Dec 27, 2012 6:58 pm

Out with the old, and in with the new! A neighbor who lived by us many, many years ago, said that her son's wife was describing her separation and divorce from her son, and the wife said, "Off with the old, and on with the new." I think our neighbor thought it was terrible that this woman said that in referrence to her son. Many of us are reviewing our lives at this time, thinking about what we did wrong, what we did right, and what we want to change for the coming year. Many will make their New Year's resolutions, but how many will keep them? It is a good thing to look at, review your life, and think about what you want to change, but don't get discouraged and depressed, because life is short, and we might as well enjoy it, rather than moaning and groaning about the past, which we can do nothing to change. We can only hope to do better in the future. That is a partnership between us and God. :D :D
