A Time and a Place For Everything Under the Sun

Postby Edwin » Wed Feb 20, 2013 5:08 pm

Ecclesiastes 3: 11; " He hath made every thing beautiful in his time...."

12; I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. 13; and also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God."

3:1; To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

a time to be born, to die, to plant, to pluck up, to kill, to heal, to break down, to build up, to weep, to laugh, to mourn, to dance, to cast away stones, to gather stones, to embrace, to refrain from embracing, to get, to lose, to keep, to cast away, to red, to sew, to keep silence, to speak, to love, to hate, a time of war, and there is a time of peace.

God has made everything beautiful for us in its time and place. We are to enjoy the gifts of God when He intends to have us enjoy them. If it is the right time, then it is right, but if it is the wrong time, then it is wrong. :D :D

Ecclesiastes is a wealth of guiding information.Everything from how to enjoy nature to how to behave at a party.More people should avail themselves of the life lessons offered there. ;)

You are right, Smiley, Ecclesiastes is written by the preacher! He was the wisest man that ever lived. If we pay attention to the admonitions in Ecclesiastes we will be better and wiser people. There are lots of "How to's" in this book telling what happens, and what we should do when! :D :D
