Speaking about marriage...I watched this movie Hope Springs. Tommy Lee Jones said to Meryl Streep about the long years of staying together and paying bills and buying her needs and jewelries is for him marriage. It is like marriage is an obligation. Marriage is not just an obligation it involves emotion. It is so sad that the couple on this movie stopped being affectionate and don't sleep together. The wife is wanting affection from the husband so she seek help from a marriage counselor to resolve their issue. It is a nice one I suggest to watch.

It is really weird because I have seen couples live together for years. Then they decide to get married, and after a short time they decide to get divorced! I heard this story about a young couple getting married where we lived. He made the joke as they were buying the engagement/wedding rings that they didn't want to stake too much on it, because it may not last, and it didn't, and that was no doubt due to their attitude going into the marriage. Marriage should be more than just obligations, and it should be more than just emotional involvement. Yes, a legal document represents the marriage, but marriage is before God, is honorable, and is not to be entered into lightely, but reverently, the young couple realizing that the judgement day is coming when all will stand before God, and they will answer for the deeds they have done while living here on the earth whether those deeds are good or evil! It is so sad when a couple stops being affectionate to each other after a few years of marriage, and then they forget why they were married! :D :D

Marriage is honorable. it is important to honor marriage and let passion set aside before marriage. Someone says, Marriage and love are two different words. If youlove someone, then you can engage into sex. But that is not true anyway.

I was a young guy, 18 years old, dreaming of marriage! I always wanted to be married, and it took me an additional five years for it to actually work out. Anyway I was standing in line waiting to buy my books at the Bible College book store, and ahead of me was a young man who was also attending Bible college, and he was married, I think for several years by that time, as he was slightly older than the rest of us. He was talking to like 4 or 5 of us in the line, and he said, "Marriage is like taking a bath, once you get into the water, it is not so hot!" That was kind of funny, and by him saying that I think he was not thrilled with his marriage! We enter in for better or for worse, and I've heard someone say that, their marriage was worse even than worse! Marriage is honorable, and God saw that it was important for the man to have the woman, and for the woman to have the man. It is not good for the man or the woman to be alone, and we are all in that same boat, I think. There are a few people who actually do like alone time, but I am not one of them! As Christians we live by a higher standard, and we don't do what feels good and feels right unless it is according to God's will! :D :D

Crisi, look out for those psychologists; they can read your mind! No, I'm just joking/kidding. Wow, 5 years as bf/gf, and yes they should know each other well by now. This sounds like a very happy occasion for all of you, and I wish your brother and his fiance wonderful things in their future. November 12th is coming and will be here before all of us even know it! I am glad that she is a wonderful woman for your brother; it is like a "Match made in heaven, huh? The fact that they have an understanding with each other is great! That will be a nice trip for you all to Cotabato for that business! :D :D

Correction please, the wedding date is November 9, 2013. I am one of the bride's maid... I need to slim down a little on my waist because I eat a lot yesterday in their house in Cotabato. it was so tiring, wake up 1am at home, went to Cotabato and arrive their 10:30 in the morning. Went home at almost 3pm and arrive Valencia past 7pm. It was so tiring but thanks God, the parents of the girl has no against with my brother and fully accepted him with no reservation. I am happy for them.... :D :D :D :D
