Wow, Crisi! Those are some beautiful flowers! The Bible says that we will reap if we faint not! Many times it is hard to do the sowing of the seeds, because you can't see the results, but with faith in your heart you can see into the future what is going to come of it in time! What ever we do we are to do it with all our might, and do it as unto the Lord. Many times we have a hard time staying with our efforts when we don't see the results, but we must be faithful, and if we are faithful God will reward us. I attempted to learn to play the piano several times in my adult life, but I gave up each time because I tried to start out more advanced than I was capable of, and so I quickly got discouraged and stopped working at it. I think what made the difference for me when I really started learning to play the piano, is the many years that I played trombone gave me a knowledge of scales and the notes written on the page. So one vacation time while visiting from where we were living and working, I sat down at our daughter's piano, opened a Christmas song book, and I was surprised and delighted that I could play as well as I did, because I had not tried it for years and years. So, I thought to myself, I am going to learn to play the piano, and I got on eBay, bought a piano, and I have been playing it ever since. I decided no matter how tedious and slow the progress I was going to stay with it, and while still working I played every spare moment that I had. Then after retiring I played the piano hour after hour all day long and many times into the night. I am not spending that much time anylonger, but I am reaping the rewards of all those many hours that I put in playing. I still do the same: I get a church hymn song book, and I play every song in that book, whether I know the songs or not. I am not the accomplished pianist that I would like to be, but I am doing really well, playing is more fun and rewarding all the time!
