We are all prone to be hurt. Sooner or later, we will be hurt by somebody, intentionally or not.

How can we handle hurt at this moment?

Many of us cannot handle hurt and some tend to commit suicide.

Because of this, many people got mental illness and as a result, many got crazy.

I have learned that, while the body is sick, we need the doctor or go to the doctor.

When we are emotionally hurt, we need a healer, we need Jesus Christ who is the great healer and understand us.

The worst is, when we are emotionally hurt, we are also affected physically. The tendency is that we go to the hospital, though we are cure physically but later on we still sick.

I realized, based on my experience, that while emotionally afflicted, I need to kneel and bow my knee for His mercy and grace.

He is the ultimate Healer. That is my experience.

How about you all?

Crisi, I love that old church song, "The great phycisian now is near, the sympathizing Jesus," and I don't have the words right in front of me, so I can't remember all the rest of it now, but I could find them easily. Anyway, Jesus does care about what concerns us!

Another thing to remember is that often when you are down physically that is when Satan attacks you. He is not a nice guy! It seems like a lot of things come together to increase the hurt often. You have something happen that hurts you badly. Then you don't eat right or exercise so you get to feeling weak from that. Then if you have not gotten enough sleep that has an effect on the way you feel. So, once you get hurt then other things make it worse as well.

You are right Crisi, about getting on your knees, and telling it to the Lord, and getting His mercy and His grace. Talk to the Lord, then eat something, excercise, and get some rest. Often times after you sleep you feel much better about whatever it is that is hurting you. Sometimes the hurt itself keeps you from sleeping, and then you just have to go to the Lord so that He will help you let go of it so that you can recuperate. :D :D

Sometimes the best thing to do when you are hurt is to cry it out. I do this run to a room where nobody else around like bathroom and cry there. Then after crying I tell myself its okay like meditating...convince myself its going to be okay and smile and smile think things funny or think positive of course pray to God too. It is how i do it esp if you are not in your home. Even at home I make sure my family don't see me cry. I rarely cry but when i do it means it's bad hurt.

That is good advice, Red, to go to a room where other people are not present to cry and get it out of your system. Then yes, cry out to God is the most important. Those are good ideas to have happy thoughts and think of funny things, and that breaks the feeling bad cycle. We have a saying, "Some people wallow in their misery." That simple means that instead of pulling themselves out of their bad feeling, they tell themselves how bad they have it, and how badly they feel until they feel worse, and before long they really are feeling badly.

I think many times the ones who administers the hurt have been hurt themselves. They may pick you at random, because for those people it doesn't matter who they hurt, but they just feel better if they hurt someone. If you have been hurt by a person who was hurt themselves it is tempting to try to get even or take revenge, but it is wrong to hurt someone else because you have been hurt. This is like you can stop the hurt cycle, but doing good and being kind. I am preaching to myself because I have been hurt, and I continue to be hurt by someone very close to me, and this person is the kind of person who wants to punish, and get even, and damaging someone else makes her feel better! It is sad for her, because she has fewer friends all the time! So Red, your advice is good for me! :D :D

Many of us will get hurt and be fine. Some would take time and some are easy to get okay.

For those who have hurt in the past who cannot move on, try to think that the Lord has greater something for you and for us.

It is better to think positive as I try to think positive too. Many people are just really hurt someone, and in this case, we need to have a forgiving heart, after all. Since we wanted to have a good day, we must try to forget the past and try to look forward. The Lord is willing to help us in times of need.

Honestly, when I am hurt, I feel depress and frustrated. I try to close the door and cry at my own. When I do this, my health is so much affected to the point that I cannot breath. But now, I learn to lean on to God. I pray and tell Him in prayer how i feel and tell God to get rid of my frustration and hurt. Then later on I realize how God change my feelings. God is so good. :D

We are hurt because it is our nature that we will feel that. But when we become mature and trust the Lord to heal our hurt feelings, God will work inour hearts and He will heal our hearts. I experience that a lot almost all the time.
