Wouldn't want to be on this highway in Bohol after the quake.

I hope and pray that everyone in bohol will be brave and strong for the Lord our God will be there to protect them........In this time of crisis I hope that everyone will help each other...Its scary that you may think we our punish by God and we need to humble our self and pray before God... :P :P

I know some friends from Cebu that have made trips to Bohol over the past week to take relief supplies to isolated areas.
The main port cities get a lot of supplies coming in, but it is not easy to get those out to the isolated areas because many of the highways are damaged, and so many bridges are out which means no one can get past those rivers.
One of the friends I have (she met her Australian husband through the site) traveled by boat to an area of Bohol that is cut off by roadways, and she says that food, water, and blankets are what is needed the most. But trying to get those things there is very hard to do.

I agree, there are places that I used to love going to that have changed so much that I don`t much care if I ever go again. Sad really, places that got their beauty from their natural state have been ruined either by natural or man-made issues.

many people dies for this tragedy i feel very sad that happened here in philippines, in my opinion maybe theirs a reason why God made this happen to our fellow filipinos this kind of traumatic experience maybe he would make us realize that we are sinners and sometimes we forgot to pray for him so he made this happen not only in the philippines but in the whole world. the lesson here even were very busy take time to go to church and sincerely pray for him and take time to thank for all the blessings we receive.

This earthquake is one of the signs that the second coming of Christ is near. If we only understand that these things happen for a reason. We must not delay to repent and be back to the Lord.

There are some recent developments in Cebu City, near to Sto Nino Church, that are a result of the 7.2 earthquake in Carmen, Bohol, which is only about 45 miles (75 km) apart. Now there are underground caverns that are exposed, and creating sink holes, and threatening barangays (neighborhoods) near the coastline.
Some streets have been closed, and the residents in those areas have been evacuated.

I remember hearing that much of that area is riddled with huge underground caverns.I never really thought until now the problems that could pose after an earthquake. My thoughts are with those affected.
